I hope this was mutual because I hate the idea of spreading a wide net offering every top 100 kid and when another recruit shows interest in committing or a reluctance to commit based on who's already committed who may be better than the one/ones we've already had commit we shove the commit out the door or stop communicating with the commit.
I really hope Brimah explodes this year to show that UConn can develop (albeit raw) bigs with upside.Dodged a bullet here with his injury history... I would like another shooter for the class regardless if its at the 1, 2, 3 or 4 and a high upside big (Enoch?)....Enoch's upside with our coaching, conditioning and facilities >>
How many championships do we have to win with teams that have all kinds of non-blue chips before people stop saying things like this?we should only be involved with top 75 players.
Alabama football and UK hoops recruit over kids and so do other top programs.
That doesn't make it the right thing to do. I mean the last thing I want is to be like uk

You have to have a wide net . Or when you don't get your kid you will be late to the table for your next target.

Would be a shame to miss out on those Okafor and Brimah type guys.
What's "wrong" about it.. you recruit as long as you have available scholarships.. we did and we did
best of luck unless UGA finds themselves in the NCAAs playing UCONN.
