Official Obliterate the Orange Game Thread

Ok, I can see what your point is, but does that mean you think there's no more level of effort they can reach for at this current moment? Serious question, not trying to start a war, in all honesty, wish we could have this convo in person over a beer.

I don't think its effort. I think its coaching. However, I think its more the cumulative effect of poor coaching over the first 8 games and all the new pieces etc. There have been some good things out of KO. They have switched to the zone D to protect JA and his foul trouble. They have good strategy to attack the zone but poor execution. They have gotten the ball to Larrier multiple times at the foul line but he has turned it over by driving instead of just catching and shooting. Anderson has missed 3 open 3s same with Vital.

And for the love of god we have 14 TO and are being out rebounded 17-10 and down 7 on the offensive glass.

I'm not seeing the improvement in this 1st half except for Cobb. Not impressed.
Only question is whether a beer will help me.

KO is an idiot more concerned with nailing college-aged poon than putting in the work to coach UConn basketball
And finally the ignore button

We rarely run a fast break anymore and it shows as even our guards struggle making the correct pass.

We look like a high school rec league team. Leave Ollie at MSG after the game's over

Start boxing out, stop making incredibly idiotic decisions and passes, move the ball. What else is new.

What is pathetic is that Syracuse sucks.

Also--we have no big men. This is worse than last year. There is no interior defense. Layup city against a team that struggles to score.

We knew the inside would be worse than last year. The rest of the team was supposed to be improved enough, but the improvement hasn't been enough and Gilbert is hurt again.

Honestly, we can come back. We need to take care of the rock, and get tougher on the boards. That's of course if the refs will let us play.

So many of those turnovers were cheap, though. Like it was the first time they had seen a basketball. Take care of the friggin ball and we're back in this...

Michigan St was the last team to not score 40 on us in the first half.

Ever wonder what it would be like if you had to watch your own house burn to the ground and there was nothing you could do about it? I would imagine that is what Calhoun is experiencing as he sits in his seat at MSG.

oh sorry the truth makes you uncomfortable. If you'd been in WeHa or Glastonbury the last 3 years you'd have seen it too. Moron.

We are absolutely worse than last year but Auggie and others are great fans because they call out fans who want the program to be relevant again.

Yeah but we thought at least one big guy would step up. They all look lost.
