Damn. Had it to single digits.

Let's hope Jalen can come back after halftime. This game isn't over...

Jackson can't defend. Need Adams back. Close out on the perimeter better and knock down our outside shots and we can win this. It's not over.

Nothing to analyze in that first half. They're 9-13 from 3 and we're 2-10.

If they were 5-13 and us 4-10, it would be a competitive game (and we'd probably be winning).

But they're not and we're not. Let's hope for some reversal of fortunes in 2nd half.

Anybody that thinks Brimah or our big men are the problem are insane. The big guys are keeping us in the game. The guards can't defend anybody and can't make a bucket. I said it before that Jalen Adams is not playing well and not because he is "tired" from having to do too much. SMU is a good team and very well coached. It also shows you how much difference a good recruiter and eye for developing and recognizing good players has on a team. Milton, Moore, and Ojeyele are ballers.

There are no moral victorys so if this ends up only a ten point loss we should have no illusions. My question is this, will next year's team be physically stronger or is it going to be more of the same?

Believe it or not, we're beating them on the glass, offensive boards and second chance points. It's their shooting 70% from 3 that's killing us...

We're actually out-rebounding one of the best rebounding teams in the nation, so I'm not sure you're making a good point.

Gonna be funny when Rodney shoots 8/10 from 3 against this team in the AAC tourney and drops 30+ on them.

Brimah is terrible. He is rebounding a little better but he offers nothing on the offensive end, putting much more pressure on guards.

I feel like Moore and Brown have been seniors for at least 3 years. Those guys were big contributors as sophomores I guess...

They also had Nic Moore, who was a guard but just as much of a pain.

Brimah and Facey are keeping us in the game. The guards are playing soft, tentative, and not making shots that have nothing to do with Brimah. The reason we are losing is because our guards aren't defending Milton and the 3 and they also aren't doing much on offense. Brimah has been a positive in the game don't kid yourself.
