Out-rebounded them 24-13. Had two turnovers (including Jalen's brainless cross-court pass with 3 seconds left) in the final 15 minutes.

When we're good, those are the reasons why. When we're bad, it's because we struggle on the boards and with valuing the ball.

Also, Rodney has turned into Wes Bialosuknia over the last 3 weeks, which is nice.

UConn grabbed a rebound and Vital was pushing the pace with 1:00 minute, recognized clock and tempo.

He slowed it up so UConn could runs it's offense. Leads to Purvis'final 3 of the half.

40, so the first great UConn player I really remember was Earl Kelley. My dad raised me on stories of Wes's jumper and Tony Hanson's ability to get to the rim & finish, though.

UConn has gotten real good the past 5-6 game with a high pick for Adams with a shooter sprinting to the opposite corner for the three. That shot by Vital was one of many times that play has been working.
