I'm not just saying this today, but on principle, I hate the 1 and 1. It penalizes the fouled team. I wish it was always 2 shots...

How is there not a foul on that play? Good God...

No. But the fouled team should have the option of taking the ball inbounds instead. That would end the fouling at the end of a game.

A Purvis sighting! At the line!

I'm not saying to end fouling. But statistically, you are providing the defensive team with an advantage by fouling. It shouldn't be that way. I'm with Auriemma on this one...

Any way, this will be a hard game, being on the road all the way in Orlando. Part of me thinks this is a hard fought 66 to 60 win, nothing pretty.

No. It was NOT pretty. Uconn held on for dear life. Another minute and I think UCF catches up and wins that.

Road wins are always great... But why did KO decide to stop playing at the 11 minute mark? We were up 15/16 and we just stopped playing.

You have to put your foot on the pedal and take that knock out punch so to speak. Another minute and UCF was going to catch them, not a pretty way to end that game.

Jackson has been awful for the last few games. His shot is so bad. He needs huge space for his release.

Nice comeback for CV, started slow.

1. Adams was gassed
2. Facey went out with his 4th foul
3. Fall was gumming up the entire paint very well
4. The dude guarding Purvis was locked in

UCF is a decent team with a good coach. We did what we had to and got the W.

Jalen was dead with 8 minutes left. Ollie asked to take him out and Jalen gave him the two thumbs up. Credit UCF with playing high pressure D throughout, and we have to remember that although we now have subs for the bigs, we don't really have them for the guards...

I think the guys were gassed

Possible and probable... But we played not the lose and obviously lost all momentum and cohesion. There's got to be a happy medium between running some clock and watching the clock.

We need to give credit to UCF guys. They played fantastic defense during that stretch. They saw we were gassed and put a ton of pressure on us. Very solid win, only bad FT shooting allowed it to be so close.

Side note: Kristen Bell is still really cute.
