Could be worse? Also Cincy is playing awful and we can't cut into the lead
 
Cincy hits 3s whenever we have anything resembling a run. And if they miss the 3 they get the putback. Frustrating to watch.

Too bad he can't finish around the rim, he's been the biggest disappointment this year besides the injuries.
 
There is one major issue in this game so far. It's the cold shooting. Brutally cold.

You can't win a game shooting 27% from the field and 9%...yes, 9%...from three...

Rodney brought his game today. We just need Jalen and Vital to find some scoring, and we are right back into this. If Facey can find it too, then we would be in great shape. Need to find another guy that can put it in the hoop...

I think Kentan and someone else. Looks like Jalen is still not 100%
 
Only down 10, but they have to start playing. This is just terrible basketball and yes, I put the blame on KO. Team is perpetually unprepared to execute. Sick of the excuses. If you can't box out and hit the boards, then there is something fundamentally wrong. Very soft.

You were obviously not alive or old enough to remember Burr Carlson's '68-'69 team that went 8-19 against a Yankee Conference schedule. As bad a team as that was, we somehow managed to beat Syracuse during that season, proving miracles do happen. Maybe again today, who knows.

We scored two points in the first five minutes of the half and three points in the last five minutes of the half. When coaching matters, we are straight f---ed against better teams.

Slow starts to the halves and bad finishes are nearly a UConn trademark these days.

If we don't start the second half like we're an actual basketball team, this will get ugly.

Everybody will have to show up for us in the 2H to win this one.
 
They might be better going bigger and sitting Vital for longer stretches.

That, and Calhoun's first UConn team ('86-87) went 9-19.
 
Good to see Rodney staying aggressive...
 
Put up or shut up time. Either make a run or fold I don't wanna watch a game floating between 10 and 14 points the rest of the way
