LSU weak schedule came back to bite them in the butt.

Eh... not really. The program is still in massive rebuild mode. They probably aren't hosting if they scheduled tougher early on working with so many new players and freshmen (8 of the 10 scholarship players are brand new)

I would call it a win for them to even be hosting year 2.

Michigan will be a tough one for them but certainly a way better matchup than last years team vs Ohio St

Even though Va Tech is hot I like our chances in that bracket. Dorka can shut down Kitley, she's more of a finesse player than a Boston type player and Amore will fall back down to Earth.

The best team Virginia Tech has beaten all season is Duke.

From the way she said "UConn's a 2?, UConn's a 2?" it came across that she was surprised they were that high. Maybe I'm wrong and she felt they should've been a #1, but it didn't come across that way.

We struggle against press sometimes so that potential OSU matchup could be tricky imo. Geno's got to have a really serious talk with Nika before if that game happens.

Best case scenario for the Huskies in the seedings. Usually, I don't care where they are, but given the stuff they have gone through this year, they "deserved a break today." Nothing is a given, but this is the best "gimme" we can get! Also, liked that they preferred to do away with the televised selection celebration. Sort of like cutting down the nets for anything but NC!

Big East with 5 teams in, and 2 in the top 16 hosting! The showing in the tournament last year definitely helped prove the BE is definitely not an easy, one-team conference.
