I don't think Nova is very good this year, and there is no guarantee that Justin Moore will even come back for them.

Nova wins 60-50. They scored 20+ of those pts from the FT line though.

21-1.

Nova wins in very unconvincing fashion.

In other news: the UConn women just handled #3 Texas.
Footnote. Texas was without their best player, their starting point guard, who also happens to be one of the best players in the country. Still a very good win though.

Butler getting blasted by Penn State early. Down 11 after 8 minutes. Still plenty of time

I will be using parentheses to indicate record against P5 going forward.

The annual tradition of Depaul dominating the non-conf and losing every Big East game is great for the league's metrics and tournament seeding.
They are a perfect cellar-dweller for the league.

1-0 start against the B1G in the Gavitt games. Need Butler to show up tonight.

Footnote #2. UConn was without their best player who happens to be the best player in the country
Footnote #3. Texas's best player will probably only be out a few games so she'll be back for most of the season. UConn's is missing the entire season.

Florida State is losing by 7 at half to Troy. FSU could start 0-3.

If ya never saw your team go 0-16 in the first half, I don’t recommend it.

Hausen and Armstrong came in the second half and may have signaled the start of the end of the chris Arcidiocono thing. Del state just hacked dudes as they came inside. It didn’t work because nova hit almost all of em. But, it wasn’t a terrible plan.

TCU just lost to Northwestern State. TCU is possibly the most overrated squad in the country. Could easily be 0-3 against low majors right now.

Butler wastes too many possessions with bad shot selection. They went from being overly structured last year to completely free-wheeling. I don't think they have the horses to play like this. You can't try to attack the basket on every possession when you have the slower team.

Butler falls to Penn State.

22-2 (1-1).

Creighton beats Holy Cross.

23-2 (1-1).
