Notre Dame vs Louisville - 3/04/18

I see that Dee Kanter is here.... Think i saw her doing the SEC game last night.

I have my fingers crossed for a strong attendance showing. I hate seeing good games with a half filled arena! Let us know.

And people wonder about the effect on back-to-back-back tournament games for players, and no travelling is usually involved.

The lady Tarheels just entered the arena to watch the game.

SO...with Debbie and Beth...how many times is A’ja Wilson mentioned as POY?

IMO if ND loses by 20+ points, they should be a #2 Seed in Baylor's region. A close game loss and they'll keep their #1 seed, because of their strength of schedule.

I'd make a bet that KLS won't be mentioned at all.

Ya think there'll be some scoring in this game? 17-12 Louisville after just 7 minutes. And Durr has 0 points so far.

Freshman Arica Carter has hit two 3-pointers for Louisville already. Muffet isn't happy.

Yes but the refs in the South Carolina - Georgia game did not get exhausted. They only worked half of the court. SC 31 FTA vs Ga 8 FTA. The stripes were only working part time!

Or maybe Georgia just fouls a lot. That's possible too. In fact, having seen their win over Missouri, I would say more than possible.

Shepard is really blowing. Can she go 40 at this pace. Asking a lot.

I'm not sure whether Walz or Mulkey is the coach who works the refs harder and more annoyingly.

Early foul trouble for Louisville. Both Fuehring and Hines-Allen have 2 fouls late in 1Q.

Foul trouble looming already for Louisville. I expect ND to roll before game ends.

Louisville fouling all over the place. Does not bode well.

The "who is going to win" polls should include 3 choices, each team and the refs. They certainly were using their whistles a lot in the 1st quarter.

Jackie Young just picked up her 2nd foul as well. That's a bigger problem for ND because they have almost no bench.

If ND Wins does that make them the third #1 Seed or will Louisville keep it? Not sure I want to be the Third #1 Seed as they'll probably get Baylor in their region. I'm presuming the fourth #1 seed gets sent to Spokane and they'll get Oregon at their #2 seed in the Region. The announcers mentioned the possibility of Stanford getting a #2 seed. Would the PAC 12 get two #2 seeds?

Is Louisville guaranteed to be in Lexington regardless if they're the #3 or #4 #1 Seed?

I agree that the Bulldogs do foul a lot. The SEC as a whole plays very grabby defense. I think Ga mugged Sophie Cunningham all night, but Mizzou vs Ga was 7 vs 22 FTA. Ugly, but not many fouls called on Ga. Not so with SC. 31 vs 8 is quite lopsided. Seems that there is consistent inconsistency at work. Not saying there is a purpose to it, but it makes for bad games.
