It helps that Achonwa is on the bench. She got called for a 50-50 foul but only after she got away with blatantly shoving a Tennessee player out of Diggins' way. But I have to say the game is being called reasonably.

Sorry. With Achonwa out, Tenn can adjust its defense to key on the perimeter players. I did see that McBride missed wide open shots, tho.

The more you watch Irish play, you realize how important Ariel Braker is to them. She is very physical. She either grabs, pushes, or undercuts someone on every play. Really helps Ochonwa look great. She finally just got levelled.

Please....watching what? This is the sloppiest game I have ever seen, with both teams running like mad dogs up and down the court, and Diggins is no exception. The offense, what there is is disorganized, the shot selection is lousy and every shot is rushed, heaving up everything that looks like a basketball. At the beginning of the game there were a few good plays, but that was it. I cannot believe I am looking at the number 2-3 team in the country with some folks trumpeting them as number 1. How did we lose to these guys?

Tennessee has no offense to speak of. Everyone stands around and watches the person with the basketball. No help. No nothing, just watching and waiting for the launch so they can crash the boards. And, they had so many opportunities for second chance points, but instead of throwing the ball out from under the basket to reset the offense, they try to shoot from under the basket, time and time again with very little success.

Run run run run shoot pray - oh, and rebound.

It is the same Tennessee we have been watching for years.
