Dude, get a grip. We play 18 regular season Big East games. So even if the team goes .500, the record will be 9-9. Like last year.
I guarantee that we will not go 8-8 in the Big East.
My bad. I was about to correct myself but you beat me to it. My point is still the same but let's say 9-9 or 10-8.Dude, get a grip. We play 18 regular season Big East games. So even if the team goes .500, the record will be 9-9. Like last year.
You jest but can you say there are any sure things with the schizophrenic team? I think the losses are easier to predict than the wins looking at the remaining schedule (I'd like to think DePaul is a W). Thank God I'm not a betting man because I would never wager on this team, with points or without. Like I said in a previous post, I am going to watch each game expecting them to lose but praying for the best so I'll be thrilled when they win but not get too down if they lose.We also have a home game vs Depaul who has been playing really well so thats another loss for sure. Also @ providence IMPOSSIBLE to win there thats another loss. Home vs ND Home vs Marquette LOSS LOSS mark it down. The question is do we win another Big East game? DOUBTFUL 3-15. Lets see if we can redshirt anyone and way till next year just rest up.
Prediction: 8-8 this BE season. Let's accept the mediocrity that is the 2011-2012 UCONN Huskies. Will Syracuse lose any players after this season? I hope they do and drop off next year because if they do we're gonna be tough to beat next season. Man, I miss the days when we were a dominant regular season BE team but after winning three national championships I think JC no longer makes a regular season championship a priority.
That's awful for a preseason top 5 team. But they are an awful offensive team. Only 2 scorers, sloppy possessions and poor perimeter defense.
Unfortunate when you potentially have 2 top 5 picks and NBA talent at 4 spots.
But happens, last year they overachieved and this year the opposite.
Unless the NCAA takes away two BE games.I'm with you, and I will bet anyone up to $100,000 that UConn will not be 8-8 at the end of the BE season.
They are the #11 team in the country right now, just lost on more or less a buzzer beater 3 to a soon to be top 25 team and you act like the season is down the toilet. Get an grip bro.
Pitt, Memphis, Vandy, and Lville were all preseason top 10 teams. Preseason rankings mean ****
This team wins at least 11 games in conference and suddenly you will be back hyping them up.
Cincy plays Cuse next week so we'll soon find out. I think they have a shot to beat them. And we are a good teamIt's not a good team and light years from an elite team. You think Duke, UK, 'Cuse or OSU would lose to Cincy or Rutty?
I realize we aren't peaking at the moment, but let's not go nuts with hyperbole about how bad we are just yet. It's not a good team and light years from an elite team. You think Duke, UK, 'Cuse or OSU would lose to Cincy or Rutty?

If you think Duke is an elite team that tells me all I need to know about your knowledge of the game.
UK almost lost to Tenn.
OSU lost to Illinios.
Hate to break it to you but Tenn is under .500 and Illinois is not better than Cincy.
Cincy lost to Presbyterian, Marshall and blown out by Xavier.

Lucky for you I wasn't accurate. Not many people can come up with 100 grand.3-2 with Boatright, so unless there is another situation, and assuming those wins were voided (I doubt it) UConn would have to be 11-8 and then void 3 games to get to 8-8. Not possible.
