i am just showing the ugly truth of what this will come to. everyone here is going to say i'm a jackass and that im not a real fan. 2 or 3 years from now were going to have 90% empty palces for games and ppl can look back and say, i should have cut it off back then and this would have only gone for 1 years instead of 3 to long. thats my stance. u do u and i'll do me. i wish more ppl would take my hard line stance but they wont as they think things are still ok and the acc is god and all that other bull shit. if the signs u see can't show u that the horde is 99% bull shit, our oc couldn't out coach hs coaches and our head coach wont let him lose, then your more blind than the girls that i put paper bags over.

u think im kidding about geno? my grandma watches every game from her lazy boy. her friends all go to each others house and play cards that night and have pizza. thats real important to me to see her being able to have those types of nights and be active at her age. geno represents a lot more than most ppl can figure out. hes that dam important to this school. am i saying we should hire him instead of ko? no not over my dead body, but i respect the man and dont want him to ever leave uconn for $ in some type of other job(mens job or pros somewhere). the $$ one day will get big enough from some place that he questions is seriously. thats a dam future fact. lock him up for life right now. its stupid that this is even a small issue.

It's not an issue HFD - Geno's contract is moving forward and it has been fairly well documented that there is no issues.

i dont think u ppl understand, sending warde stuff is a good start but the pressure comes when u send thos eletters to media and sponsors. i'm not talking horde ppl. i'm talking reporters and radios and shit. when they start seeing multipe emails and letts on the uconn football coach topic, they are going to dig and figure it out and once it catches some wind, thats when u go for the kill as a fanbase. dont just send stuff to uconn, send it everywhere possible. the more ppl involved the better.

whats the hold up? his contract offer from uconn to him should take us 5 minutes to take care of. i dont like how its played out for no reason when we have several other situations that need attention. lock him up and get going on other stuff. stop with the im in control and will take my time to see things thru bull shit.

Ummm... did you ever do anything that has agents and lawyers involved? There may be battles to be fought but I can't for the life of me think that Geno needs your help.

my help? no. but its either get this contact done or dont with it right now. considering all the things going on in our ad, were going to put time into genos extension? fine then get it done, but if were going to horse it along for 3 weeks thats bs, that time could be done a lot better ways all things considered. geno should have been locked up before the season started and now were bsing it along instead of getting it done. its a spending time here vs there and why not get it done and move along thing. it shows warde is a idiot. funny how this line keeps repeating itself.

Didn't expect to win all, but after beating the best team on the schedule (Louisville) & beating a team that lost to the ONLY undefeated DI school in the nation in triple OT, I think that shows that every game was winnable.
 
i have been doing a lot of thinking. right now i would take gdl gone for skip as oc. he has been oc at major schools before and done well. hes a ct guy and he not only has ties in new england but all along the coast and florida especially. he is recruiting well the past couple years and he can handle a d1 offense as long as bj daniels isn't near the stadium. its no secret he had a qb crisis the past couple years which led to his ruff time as usf. we have a rising qb in whitmer and depth thru recruit classes with cochran and lagow(verbal right now). so i'm not worried about qb with him. hell he could even bring a few of his recruits...skip for gdl could be the change this team needs. with skip being a young guy familair with uconn he could plug right in and help develope day and wholley as well. p can groom skip a bit more connections wise which is all p is good for these days. am i tripping here or does this actually make sense?

brown brings energy for the kids and they feed off it, p and gdl dont. as a hc i can live with it if the oc also brings the heat. skip can do that. hes outspoken and knows what uconn fans digg. i can't believ it has come to me saying this shit. maybe skip and his HC expierence will call the time outs for us 2. F*#*!

He needs to come back home, defeat GDL in armed combat and take control of this offense*.

* Until the end of next season when we demand that he's fired along with P and everyone else who draws a paycheck in the athletic department.

So you're going to stop attending bball games because you want everybody fired? How are the B1G and ACC supposed to judge our fan base? Are they going to assume we're a bunch of whiners that stomp our feet and don't spend money when things don't go our way? That will really make us attractive. If you really want to support the team you go to watch them play, end of story. Nobody listens to silence and that's the result of a boycott. Boycotts don't work, and I wouldn't want an AD that makes his decisions based on public sentiment. The reason WM is AD is because he knows a lot more about this than the general public, otherwise you'd be AD. If you want to shout from the rooftops that you want P and GDL fired or even better KO extended, more power to you, but I don't think denying guys like KO, Shabazz and company your support is the best way to go about it.

i want ppl hired, not fired in bball. ppl in the seats dont matter vs tv viewers. this is a game in nyc. my seats will have ppl in thme and i will watch 2night with my 2 bitches. i think uconn will survive that just fine. hire ko, hire geno, fire the football ppl.
 
My biggest frustrations with WM don't even involve football coaching. I can see why he'd want to give a guy 3-4 years, and it makes logical sense, whether we want him to in this case or not. With all the current turbulence and uncertainty, sign KO to a longer deal already. It doesn't have to be a life time deal, but extend him to 4-5 years. He should be able to get that contract done with reasonable terms and personally I think it'll be announced during Christmas break, but until then I'll bitch about it. Also, schedule somebody in football for crying out loud. Right now the only sure thing about our 2014 schedule is a list of teams that won't be on it. Get those two things accomplished and holding onto P for another year won't bother me as much, but right now I wonder what he's doing to collect a paycheck.
