Awful 3 pt shooting and still won easily....Cling Kong! Mildly concerned about shooting as we move ahead, hopefully rims in Boston kinder.

I wouldn't be too concerned. They seem to pull it out when they need to. No one expected them to lose to Northwestern.

The second half was completely irrelevant. The game was over 5 minutes into the second half and Hurley put UConn in cruise control.

Northwestern really sucked, and it was a travesty that they got a bid with two key players injured while other more deserving teams stayed home.

Looked like a hockey game for a while. NU had a lot of body checks that went uncalled.

And UConn showed great restraint in not retaliating because of they shoved back the y would have been whistled for a foul

He's strong and long. Made things extraordinarily difficult on Buie. It was impressive.

Only complaint today is the outside shooting, 3-22 is just plain awful, but we still ended up winning by 17 which shows how dominant this team truly is.

Castle had by far the best 1 on 1 perimeter defense performance I’ve ever watched. Boo Buie is 4 years older, a superstar P5 scorer, and Steph gave him nightmares all game long. Diarra did great too

Clingan owned the paint on both ends of the floor

Karaban major offensive rebounds and held his own defensively

Then Newton at the top with a 20/10 performance

Clingan 14/14/10blk. Officially it is 14/14/8, but he definitely had 10.

Barnhizer and Langborg came alive in the second half but we had enough of a lead that we could sleepwalk and still win by almost 20

On to the Sweet 16!

Unfortunately I the last good outside shooting game Karaban had was the game I saw live.... .

.. at the AMP in Providence. He came up with clutch rebounds there at the end but he is simply missing his open shots.

They did. They didn't take the air out of the ball. They just missed shots. Not thrilled but the silver lining is Danny has something to yell at them for.

I love when the guys give the staff just enough to really chew them out about and stoke the fire. That lousy second half was perfect. It didn’t put us in any real danger but it definitely didn’t feel good.
