Whoa. Wes used his last timeout with 29 seconds to play. Leslie hits 2 FTs to push the lead to 3. There could be some chaotic moments here in the last 26 seconds.

This has been a fantastic game. Much like a NCAA Tournament game. Looks like NC State is going to take this game. I'm impressed with both teams.

Leslie stuffs Mangakahia after Mangakahia missed key FT which could have tied it up. Flagrant penalty possible?

I love how the coaches' reactions totally give away which way the review call went.

This is just a huge win by State. The consecutive losses to UNC and FSU plus the loss of yet another key player in Cassell really raised some questions. They emphatically showed in this game they aren't going away.

Syracuse will drop away significantly if tiana goes into the draft.

Was impressed with the freshman Cunane. 22/12..

Final: NC State beats Syracuse, 77-73. Wolfpack Women now 22-2, 9-2 ACC. Syracuse falls to 18-6, 7-4 ACC.

Huge, huge road win for NC State. Now, hopefully, all the comments about NC State not beating anyone will cease.

I want to say something snarky but I better hush up until Monday night. :p

In all seriousness, Cunane and Leslie are impressive and NC State is clearly a disciplined, well-coached team.

Discretion is the better part of Valor..... you're out numbered in this thread ... 2-1... we tobacco roader's stick tight  Except for that one unnamed school.

You and I share a common hatred for those Blue Bellies in Chapel Hill.

Great win by NC State. Syracuse must lead the country in three point attempts and they don't seem to be falling a lot lately.

Syracuse was 1 of 10 (10%) from 3 in 4Q.
Up until then they were 11 of 22 (50%).

I was one of those who expected NC State to lose tonight. I thought that one more injury to an important player would be too much. I am very happy that Cunane, Leslie, and Rogers really showed up tonight.

I don't share the dislike of some for the North Carolina team. I have especially enjoyed watching Paris Kea play. I last saw her in the Clemson game, where she played well despite being still sick with the flu. It seemed that at some moments, she could barely stand. Shades of Lou and her bucket at the Maryland game some years back.
