Bueckers and Clark made their own NIL and built their own "name" and popularity for actual real companies to pay for their name. I think I'd throw JuJu into being close to that also. The million dollar stuff thrown around now is just pay-for-play from collectives.

She's past being "close" as she was getting NIL deals before entering college if memory serves correct. Believe it also ties into the family's objective to build locally in the neighbourhood she was raised in. The family history in Watts (I believe) goes back generations from what I've heard from announcers.

Exactly. And, 2025 signee Jasmine Davidson signed with Nike last November shortly after she signed her LOI with Nike school USC; way before she enters college.
