She just recieved her offer from Texas last week; assuming she had a relationship with our new coaching staff while they were at MSU; has never visited Texas. I'm thinking she she ends up at Kentucky.
Coach Schaefer and staff were recruiting her while at MSU. Why do you think she ends up at Kentucky?

Also, Coach Schaefer will normally narrow down to two recruits for each slot needed. For example, at point guard he was originally recruiting R Johnson, K McPherson, and R Harmon. R Johnson looks to be a South Carolina lean so he had the other two. If he offered B Hall then he feels pretty good about his relationship with her. She is the type of player that can swing between 3, 2, and even 4.

Well, Kentucky borders Ohio, so close to home. And, her twitter had a lot of Kentucky stuff (prior to picking up a Texas offer). Get the feeling she wants to play in the SEC based on several of her finalists. I don't get the feeling she'll stay in-state and play at OSU, but the home state school can never be counted out, especially during this pandemic.

Yup, Mikesell. Destiny Henderson's days are numbered in Columbia.

Mikesell is definitely not a Staley-type PG. More of a 2/3 probably.

Hmmm, ok. That's your opinion. I stand by my original claim. The backcourt is also filling up in Columbia, I'd be surprised if all of them (not counting the 3rd stringers) end up staying.

Mikesell would have to sit out a year. She would replace the Gamecocks’ lone graduate Lele Grissett‘s spot. Dawn is pretty excited to have Destiny Littleton eligible.

Henderson is the likely starter at point this year. Not sure why she would leave. Zia played point very little this year. Henny has been groomed for that spot.

Your claim isn’t even logical. SC only has 9 scholarship players next year and 4 are considered guards. Of those 4, two are upperclassmen. There is plenty of room and playing time hence two pickups. I doubt both are guards and they both might be class of 21’ anyway. Henderson is definitely a mainstay in Columbia. She will be a big staple for her team these next two years.
