She's from my city and only a sophomore. If she keeps up her pace, she is going to be getting a ton more offers.

I can’t relax for a minute these days. First, Triad slips in and grabs Taylor Sofalkanich right out from under my nose, then Dillon and his bunch nab Bella Ragone while I was still distracted by Triad’s treachery, and that’s after ND’s outright theft of Leah Macy after Shea courted her for two years. Granted, Ragone didn’t have a Vandy offer, but I think of her as a poor man’s Kate Harpring, and I think Harpring is the best college prospect in America. Besides, Ragone is a lefty, and who doesn’t want a lefty on their team?

As if that isn’t enough, Geno does his swoop in and take any player he wants trick and Heckel is on her way to Storrs, not Nashville.

I’m starting to think Dawn and SC are the only ones I can trust, and I’m keeping a close eye on them when it comes to McKenna Woliczko.

You gotta be careful making comparisons. I occasionally build up sufficient angst to release a minor squall into the atmosphere. Friend Triad wakes up each morning ready to redress the day’s grievances before he even knows what they are. He’s no squall. He’s a full-blown thunderstorm.

ND and Coach Ivey get their first commit of the Class of 2026. Ragone and the Irish have had a steady mutual interest in each other with Ragone taking at least two trips to ND. Great news for the Irish.

Ha! A poster compared something I said to something you would say. My second post was simply to indicate that I'm not worthy. Still can't say I'm happy about Sofalkanich, though. It's not like talented 6'4 players grow on trees. Shea has been after one for four years now. Even offered her older sister when she transferred from Bucknell. She chose Michigan. I can't figure out who to be mad at about that.

I’d expect to see more ‘26 and ‘27 commits. This is a major program whose roster is likely to be wide open for those recruits. They have a chance to build something great. If there was ever a time for a young person to consider ND, this is it.

Nope, but it's interesting to see a 3:1 ratio between the BIG10 and the SEC.

Ordinarily, I'd have said USC is the shoe-in once ND fell off her list. But I don't think it's so clear anymore.

I would have bet money Vandy would be on this list after her official visit a few weeks back, showing one more time that I do not and will not ever fathom the thinking of a teen girl. Those are all great choices for her, though. Can't really go wrong.
