Non-UConn NCAA Baseball Tourney

I find the ECU coaches pitiful whimper of "we're just a small school" to be a whine.

He wouldn't have liked FSU's assignment any better...taking on national #4 seed at their home and then LSU at theirs.

Hey...he could have had last four ins like FSU and Duke...and I think he would have been very disappointed...Best of the AAC having to play a last four in team.

Oh yeah...fan boards trying to justify a major upset...But don't you think that it was more about the Louisville hitters not hitting?
 
Duke did not have a winning conference record...winning a game in the Super Regional against the best of the SEC was their season...they overachieved in the post season.

Duke pulled a UConn and started hitting at the right time, and unlike UConn, they still have not stopped. Props to them; I would not have had them in over Texas State if I were in charge of the committee.
 
Tech/OK State game is crazy... home runs galore. Heading into 9th - TT up by 2 after 4 runs in B8 -> ESPNU

This game could challenge the current tournament record of 37 runs... against Ohio State by FSU.

FSU scored 8, 9, and 11 in separate innings...had 32 by end of the 5th.
 
Still wished Tech was able to play you guys instead of Okie St....however, Tech is on a really nice run in their Spring sports...Basketball National Runners-Up, Mens track and field National Champs, baseball going to Omaha for 4th time in 6 years, and softball team made a Regional.
 
TTU has had a good spring-summer....now if football improves and has a good season in the fall...it will be a good six months.

Utah State HC was a really good hire. The aggies were a joy to watch this year. I expect your football will be productive in the fall as well.

Good luck to Texas Tech & Florida State in Omaha! Rootimg for anyone that can beat Vandy and that damn whistling.

That Kumar Rocker from Vandy is almost a guaranteed win when he pitches.

Vandy is my odds on favorite to take the whole thing...
 
Picking Arkansas, but FSU reminds me of Coastal from a few years back. Team of destiny...

Not gonna lie, the field looks pretty strong. I don't expect the run of blowouts to continue. Should be fun to watch.

Michigan takes down TexasTech 5-3 in first game. Michigan on quite the roll... making the Selection Committee look good.

TTU handled them in the regular season. UM is just on fire right now. That's college baseball for you :/
