0-11I am on an impressive run -- the teams that I wanted to win are now 0-10 in the CWS.

About to go 0-13.0-12
24 trips to Omaha, 0 ships for FSU. UConn knocked them out one of those times in 1957.
Have to think they get over the hump eventually if Jarrett stays.
This is because the format changed. They used to geographically divide the country into regions and choose/establish the best teams from each region. So there was always a northeast representative guaranteed in the CWS each year.Back in the day..UConn made five CWS appearances, Holy Cross 4, Maine 7, St. John's 6, NYU 2, UMass 2, Seton Hall 4...
Northeast had teams in the CWS...
Some relative late comers like Miami came alive in the 70's...Canes' first CWS in 1974 and 25 total appearances...LSU 1st appearance 1986 and 19 appearances since, South Carolina 1st appearance in 1975 and 11 total

When they changed to the modern format the regionals now have no tie to actual regions like they used to. You can now have every team in the CWS from the southeast if it works out that way. This never used to be possible in the old format and it is now much harder for northeast teams to qualify.
