FWIW that's just part of the equation. 20 million are donations to the annual fund but the Rams Club has a independent scholarship fund that alumni/ boosters support yearly that are not included in donations but 5% is withdrawn yearly to cover scholarship cost. In fact the recently concluded fundraising campaign raised close to 300 million for that fund & it currently has assets in the 500 million range & this does not include each sports team operating fund.Yeah...but do not think that dynamic does not go on at FSU...the difference is that although UNC is an older, more established, school...FSU's donations of $ 41.7 million far surpass UNC's donations of $19.8 million.....it is a big difference in athletic booster support.
