Good God what a freaking drama queen.

He said in his Facebook post that this is the "third worst experience" of his life. However, he didn't list the abuse he said he suffered as a kid as being one of the two things worse than this. So is he saying this is a worse experience than being abused? I mean, it's none of my business, but if he was being honest, I find that incredibly odd.

I'm probably out of line even asking that question rhetorically. But everything he says is suspect. Actually I guess it doesn't really matter. He's purposely blowing this all out of proportion for sympathy anyhow. Whatever has happened in his life, surely THIS shouldn't compare to it.

So The Dude is trying to save face by saying it isn't happening, so he can claim the "information changed." He was out ahead of it! Just ask him.
 
It's like the scene in The Waterboy where the Fonz puts on heels and cries after not getting the HC gig .."No, I didn't get the job Gramma". I imagine the dood as being a similar character in life and reacting much the same. "No pappy, the Times did not hire me" as he closes the basement door, puts on some Barry Manilow and has a 1 person fashion show.. I don't feel bad for him because he brings it upon himself.
 
I suspect that being a CR internet faux insider is like doing crack (or whatever the drug du jour is.) Early on it is a rush but after a while you need more and more validation to get the same feeling. The poor bastard is jonesing for another hit of validation.

Nailed it. I think all the CR twitterati fall victim to it. Too bad none of them OD (in a twitter sense) and never tweet again...
 
so basically, given the lack of activity on this board, is it the consensus that nothing coming out of tomorrow's meeting will impact Uconn directly?

On a positive note, nothing of significance has ever happened as expected/predicted. wasn't it just after the media declared CR dead, ND moved to the ACC?
 
Most CFB staffs vacation now as in a week or so preseason camp should be starting preparing for the season openers..ergo very little happening.
