Is Banchero overhyped?

Depends who is doing the hype. Does he have perennial all-star potential? Yeah. Is he the next coming of Lebron? No. Kid is a HECK of a player... better than anyone we've had come through our program in a decade just based on pure talent. He nearly had a triple-double in a game that he didn't really play that well in.

If I didn't have class to teach tonight, I would 100% be in that gym. No matter what happens, I get to be happy someone lost--that's worth 4 dollars to me.
How could you decide who to root for in this one? I have to pass on this game. Even if you win, you lose.

Admittedly I don't watch 'Cuse BBall but apples does not fall far from tree. Boeheim's are whiney bitche$ ......all of them.
Someone said on The FAN that Boeheim looks the same now as he did 15 years ago. I say, a whiny, biotch nose-picker then and still one today.

Cause was up 1 with3 minutes left, however Duke scoped the last 10 points.

I wanted Syracuse to lose today. Assuming they don't make any post-season tournament, the Orange finish with a losing record. First time, I think, in JB's era.

Jamie Dixon made out well leaving Pitt when he did. Pitt wouldve been much better off going to the Big Ten.

Texas A&M buzzer beater to defeat Florida in OT, in what is almost an NCAA Tournament play-in game, considering both teams are right on the bubble.

Edit: It was Mamadou Diarra's little brother that made the shot!

It's not about rooting for anyone. You root for individual and collective failure.

Are you scared fate would have us meet them as a tourney 12 seed if they win ACC?
The Committee would 100% do that. No doubt about it.

Fortunately they choked down the stretch (10-0 dook run to end it) and it's moot now.

Iowa with 64 points in the first half against Northwestern, on 68% shooting from 2 and 3 (11-16, 7 different guys have made one).

People have said they don't play defense, but man they can score.

I like the spelling. Very clever. But everytime they show a Duke fan in the audience It looks like a kid whose parents said "ok honey. You can move to Williamsburg and we'll pay your rent until you're 30. But then you have to get a job and learn some responsibility:" I want that kid to feel loss.
I don’t love Duke but my daughter in law in no way fits your silly bias. (She also detests Laettner) And my son works in the literal shadow of the Dome formerly known as Carrier and his son loves Cuse.

Much like a jobber in pro wrestling 'Cuse did what they had to do to sell the match for the audience before losing. It was fun to watch them stay close, take a lead, and do, well, those plucky things that plucky teams do.

In the end, the loss ensures 'Cuse has a losing record and no post season invites. And having to choose between 'Cuse losing and sitting the post season out or have 'Cuse win, have a chance for an NIT and only causing dook to drop from a 2 seed to a 3 seed, I had to see 'Cuse lose.

Guys, it's OK. Jim says it wasn't a punch, so everything's all set.

If ESPN does suspend Buddy for this, you have to think it's part of a larger conspiracy to make sure Duke advances in the ACC Tournament..

Such a terrible take. Pretty obvious to everyone on the planet his kid took a shot. Man up nose picker and call him out for making a mistake.

They have a unique combination of players. Really fun team. They lost a ton from last year but the TEAM CHEMISRY is REALLY clicking. Sometimes addition by subtraction with guys like Nunge leaving are all it takes. You could have argued he was the missing piece to a second weekend run early in the season.
