It's not a challenge or a tournament or any kind of event - it's eight teams filling their schedules every year with something other than yet another Sun Belt scrub.

I was under the impression he was really in a gray area. He put up some insane block #'s at the combine if not mistaken. I hope he leaves.

He says he'll leave if he's going to go in the first round. Good mocks had him late 1st pre-combine, and he was one of the top 5 performers in the combine 5v5 and tested well in both measurements and athletics. He gone.

I think his father played at Georgia? Looks like his decision will come as time expires. Not sure there are many players that move the needle in an upward trajectory more than him as it relates to just how good a team can be IF a guy returns. I think the SEC has been hit pretty hard at the top by departures. Probably looking at Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia and Florida as the teams to beat. That is with Claxson (????). With Claxson I wouldn't bet against Georgia winning the SEC.

Next years (2020 or 2021) class (sounds like the cubs and browns, this will likely be our 4th non winning season IN A ROW... that is not just insufferable it’s unacceptable and is now the norm. We do 3 year trailing army company. This is a trend or a new reality both of which blow)

I am seeing an exact copy of last regime recruiting. Unless the target wasn’t already all about us we aren’t selling anyone and are once again resorting to 3* unknowns or less. ( I know we play a cleaner game. Honor is our weakness sadly)

I’ve been on this boat for 40 years and hope I get 40 more. LOVE our school. Will still love them. I just keep feeling like we are turning into UCLA NC State Indiana or Georgetown. Irreplaceable to irrelevant.

I understand the impatience, it's hard for us as fans of a great program to watch it burn to the ground. The reality is that Hurley and staff aren't going to win every recruiting battle, and there will be times we settle for plan C. Most of us are trying to be optimistic because Hurley hasn't shown us any reason not to be, so when I see posts like yours, saying things like Wichita State has surpassed us as a program, it comes off like you're trying to bring the moral down. Nobody is saying have blind faith, but being negative doesn't help anybody, especially in the off-season, where optimism should be at its highest point.

I’m admittedly a bit too prideful of a fan to care about playing any SEC team not named UK or FLA.

UConn can do better than the last year's bottom 4 SEC teams.

We'll what they actually fill the schedule with.

This a non-issue. UConn already has a home-and-home with Florida (a better team than the 4 SEC teams involved) so I doubt they’d be in consideration for this anyways.

I’m just happy it’s a good opportunity for other AAC teams to get more quality OOC opportunities.
