Nils Machowski visiting today

Seems like he’d help and provide needed depth. Do we know if we are likely to get him?

Yes, on this team he is 3 of 3. Hard to not to trust this staff, but seeing some of the other elite teams, it’s hard not to think some of the struggles during this year will show themselves again next year. Danny followed the same recipe, he didn’t adjust. Time will tell.
That's a strange take for a team that had only 6 losses and got to the national championship game playing Michigan tougher than anyone else did in the tournament. Every year can't be like 2024.

Yup, and you’re not wrong Hurley’s offense isn’t really built around one guy just going iso and breaking people down every trip.
I just think having someone who can do it when things get stagnant wouldn’t hurt. Just as a change up when you need a bucket late in the clock. Every now and then you need a guy who can go make something out of nothing.
So what you would like is to get a player with one additional skill, presumably for the same amount of money in the budget and for the same slot available of playing time. Why, that’s brilliant!! Why didn’t the rest of us think of wanting an even better player for the same amount of money.

Hard to argue. I get it. There are also rosters I have no idea how we can match up with. Also, says the guy who probably wants Danny’s head when we lose two games in January.
I have quite literally never posted a negative word about this team, the staff, or anyone involved in the program. That’s kind of my thing

Different team as far senority. You had Sr. Reed, Sr, Karaban, Jr. Stewart and all 3 of them had played at least 2 years together. We are replacing that with So. Hines, So. Kamenia, and TBD PF. We also lose Jr. Ball and maybe replace him with potentially Nils and he has only been successful at a lower level. His numbers at UCF were more pedestrian.

This guy posted this before the visit on the 24th and is not reliable. Stop posting his tweets. Nik probably will commit but he won't know before other reliable sources.

I hope we struggle our way to the National Championship game again. Would be absolute agony to have that happen.

Nice sarcasm, but you’re kind of missing the point. I’m not asking for a “better version of the same player for the same money” like it’s some fantasy draft. I’m talking about adding a different skill set a true breakdown guard who can create off the bounce, not a one-dimensional piece. Someone in the mold of a Malik Mack type, not just another standstill option.
And unless you’ve got access to the actual NIL numbers being handed out, let’s not pretend any of us know exactly how the budget is being allocated. We’re all reading the same tea leaves here.
But hey, appreciate the lecture. You lawyers do have a way of turning a simple basketball take into a closing argument a little arrogant, but I guess that comes with the territory.

The staff pretty much always gets a commit from transfers who come for a visit, so hopefully we do

He's a jerk and doesn't know anything but there's some pretty hilarious exchanges between him and Zanetto. He's constantly starting stuff with him.

Can't disagree with any of that but that's not what the poster was talking about that I responded to.

Well he was talking about similar make up of the team and then you mentioned we got to the final four because of that makeup. I'm just saying that this team while built similar doesn't have the experience that this past year had in key positions up front especially. I would take a Sr. Reed and Sr. Karaban again over So. Khamenia and So. Hines.
