Nika got through four years at UConn without a scratch, and then has two ACL's at the start of her pro career. Very unfortunate.

I feel so horrible for her she has not gotten a single break since leaving UConn. I hope she isn't just totally demoralized. She was an iron woman her last couple years at UConn. Just terrible news

Will she keep plugging away? Others have gone thru worse but... 2 in 2 years is a lot. Maybe retire? Would love to see her in the WNBA but her health has to come first.

I think you have to come back at least one more time. Theoretically, she's rebuilt and ready to go after rehabilitation.

It didn't look good when it happened, but I didn't think it looked like an ACL either. The fact that she hadn't been back for a couple of weeks was an indicator, though.

This is my favorite suggestion for a post-playing career ever. Seriously. We have enough coaches. Go swing a magic sword in the movies, I'd do that in a heartbeat.
