Columbia demolishing New Haven 42-18 at the half btw

Columbia hot from 3pt range (7-12) is the main reason. Though this was as predictable as the sun rising and setting. Many teams play out of their minds vs. UConn and regress to the mean afterwards. With that said, they've gone on a run and closed it to 48-34.

He stays behind the arc. He's thinking he will be open for a corner three. But the guy on Solo drifts far enough back to cut off that pass. Nothing wrong with it. But given the result, cutting would have been a better option.

Bethesda women were shut out until the third quarter by Cal State Northridge. Then hit a three to cut the Marador lead to 67-3. So i guess it did almost happen.

Rewatching the New Haven game with a focus on lousy defense on straight line drives to the basket.
Demary and Ross with the defensive reputations were the prime culprits.
Demary gave up baskets on drives in the first half at 3:30, and 2:43. Second half at 19:20, 17:24, 10:10, and fouled sending his guy to the line at 7:55. That is 6 straight line drives allowed by the guy who is supposed to be the source of our defensive improvement..
Ross gave up 3 drives and fouled all 3 times, 5:20 1st half and 3:39 and 3:02 second half. The last was an 'and 1'.
Ball gave up 2 but the first I believe should have been a moving screen so I submit only 1 time he got burned.
Millender was taken badly 1 time.
Stewart 0 was not beaten.
Smith was not scored on but actually was taken to the hole a couple times.
The baskets over Reibe and Karaban were just good offensive plays where our guy played good D but the guy made shots.
Rewatching for this was a useful exercise for my perspective on so many New Haven baskets on so few assists. It wasn't everybody that was getting beat, nor was it the players with poor defensive reputations.

I think it was 72 to 0 before the basket. Bethesda only had 4 healthy players and a fifth that was not feeling well and took herself out at times leaving 4 on 5. I think the final was 102 to 13 but I didn't recheck.

Stew moves like a guy who wants the ball and is always looking to score.

Happy to get an example of how that should look too and how easy of a score that is.

Just a basic read when you understand spacing and motion offense principles.

Oh yeah, I totally forgot it's a 4 team MTE. It's just a round robin schedule and each team plays the other 3 teams.
