Both centers got schooled by a division 3 transfer.Koroma clearly played better D against New Haven's big guy. Reibe needs a little more muscle to be effective inside on both sides of the ball.

A lot of low basketball IQ all over the place.Didn’t look like UConn basketball. So much one on one. So many missed layups.
Koroma played well and pushed him out. It was Reibe and Karaban who got schooled the most by that Center. Both centers got schooled by a division 3 transfer.
I don't know. They made a LOT of tough shots. The Pasha dude alone made like 7 fadeaway jumpers over ReibeTheir center was money. Really good player.
Defense overall was soft as a pillow top.
Perimeter defense iffy. Solo same passer and same 80% speed cutter. We remain a team that weirdly struggles at close range. Those lead my concerns.
Positive Smith looks like he has penetration skills, Silas looks like he's got a bit of a bag, and...well...I guess that's it. Will reserve judgement until we have 5 or 6 games under our belt with Reed.
He played smaller than he is tonight, but he gets to benefit from the film more than anyone. Also missed a dunk on a pass from AK because he wasn't ready. I think he's got good feet to show a lot of growth thia year.Reibe has gotta rebound.
We do have more penetrators on offense with Demary, Smith, Stewart and Ball. Though Ball was near the basket.Basically the same as last year. Missed open threes, multiple bunny layups. Bad defense and out of sync on offense.
Let's hope Reed and Mullins make a big difference.
Karaban DID look very good and he didnt see to force as much as last season.
No doubt, we'll see if he actually has strength at the rim as they settle in. No one finished tonight unfortunately. I do like him as a depth piece...I would already take him over Aidan, for instance.Wish Smith had finishing skillz to match his penetration skills.
Reed would of dominated inside against this small New Haven team. He definitely wouldnt of gotten pushed around and would allow us to get some easy baskets inside which we need on offense.Glad we won but there’s a LOT of work to do, hope that Reed fixes a lot of that vs Lowell
100% agreed. Those teams looked far more cohesive and athletic. I dropped the last 3 minutes of that awful game to cleanse my eyes with some good hoops.Well finishing up Arizona taking out Florida and they both look deeper than us. We better step our game up in a hurry because I’m not sure we beat either one playing the way we have. Both big and deep up front especially.
To be fair, the one that he got manhandled the most was where the NH guy cleared him out with a blatant elbow clearout that went uncalled.Ross great first half on D and then was getting manhandled on drives in the 2nd half.
Yeah I didn’t think Reibes defense on him was bad, that dude had some shooting luck today. Doubt that was a repeatable performanceI don't know. They made a LOT of tough shots. The Pasha dude alone made like 7 fadeaway jumpers over Reibe
A top 5 team and championship contender should be dominating and overwhelming a team like New Haven. This team need to find their inner Dawg and start acting like fearless champions and not scared kitty cats who doubt themselves when they make a mistake. They need some swagger.100% agreed. Yeah we would get spanked if we played like tonight.Well finishing up Arizona taking out Florida and they both look deeper than us. We better step our game up in a hurry because I’m not sure we beat either one playing the way we have. Both big and deep up front especially.
