as to your comment----i think baylor is by far the best team and tn is not playing well so WHY WOULD I WANT THEM IN TN's REGION. DUH! LOL reading comprehension is a great thing, eh?

SC is terribly underranked. dawn staley has those girls playing really well. anyway, don't let facts get in the way of your opinion.

So. Carolina has 4 wins over teams in the top 50 RPI - 2 against Vandy, Florida and Tennessee, all SEC teams. The only other teams in the Top 100 in RPI that USC beat are North Carolina (RPI 100), Drexel (94), and Illinois (91). The bad losses were to NC State and Auburn. USC's strength of schedule is 67, not a murder's row.

I'm surprised by the tone of some of the Boneyarder's posts, too. You've been a reasonable visitor. We've had other visiting fans that have seen their teams and conferences through tinted glasses, I'm afraid that it's your allegiance to the LVs that has caused this particular outburst.

not at all. UCONN fans mostly enjoy intelligent and thoughtful conversation and debate with other teams. but when you come on here and not only call out posters, but do it with a hint of a 'tude, and incorrect facts to boot, you can expect to get called out yourself.

Where, exactly, did BigO call anyone out? And as for incorrect facts, he's looking at things as a Tenn/SEC fan so he's got a different perspective. Besides, if we yelled at everyone that was loosey-goosey with facts, the Boneyard would be a truly inhospitable place indeed.

go back and read the posts between me and him. he said " i am not even going to try to debunk all that. the sec will have the most teams in the tourney this year.....and you might want to watch the baylor/tenn game", and then went on to give incorrect facts.

btw the facts i pointed out as incorrect are also in my reply post so i won't rehash them again...

honestly, i didn't reply to your post b/c i don't want to engage with the "tude" stuff. your facts may be right. who knows as i am certainly not rewatching a basketball game so i can respond with a cute remark. sorry just not my style. it's not THAT deep.

thanks. i may be wrong about how long was left in game but i honestly was just commenting on the sec and it's improvement this year as a conference. as you can see, my posts clearly say the lady vols are not playing well at all right now. that's as honest as i can be (especially for a long time LV fan) lol

yes nancy I thought it was, if you read the post in its' entirety... i didn't accuse him of killing a puppy or shooting anyone. what would you call it? he tells me i'm wrong, makes a smart alecky comment (not the end of the world) and then proceeds to tell me i'm wrong by supplying his own "facts" that are wrong. so i replied very nicely and pointed out where he missed the mark(s)...

i even ended the post by saying someting nice about tennessee and the players!!

i hate to break it to you...there are good teams outside the big east. ha KY is a very good team and gave ND all they could handle AT notre dame. it's a little absurd to say KY isn't a great team.

Debating the value of teams is a lot of fun. Don't expect it to be nicey nicey.

i think i am more familiar with the SEC..which should be the case....however, i would say KY, who will likely be a #2 seed is a great team. they play amazing D and are very fast. i think great teams are those who are in top 10-ish. that's my own definition. rem, last year it wasn't a 1, 2 or 3 seed that won the NC. SC is a good team. saying they are "great" may have been a stretch. standing by the KY thing though. they lost to LSU and MTSU very early on.
