There are an entire of genre of nicknames that are ironic. Like big huge guys being called "tiny." Remember Little Chino from Dexter? He was huge.

i like DB Palatine. Guess what DB stands for?
Yet another reason to love Heady Topper; one of the best t-shirt designs:

I assumed this was a thread calling for Tim Boyle to start instead of Purvis.

But you didn't mean this one to be ironic. You meant to be a . As usual.
Oh, so now you can read my mind. You really are amazing.

You take something I said, make it something I never said and blame me for it, then call me a . Look in the mirror --idiot.

I never intended this to be any bad about Purvis. Just having a little fun with nicknames. Heck I compare him to a national champion NNP in my original post. He is the one (or the paper) who said he was nervous. I just put the two together.

Just don't read my threads and everyone will be happier. There is a block function. Use it.......or apologize.

apologize.
Thanks for the laugh.

What I said was not news. Your reputation is well-established, well-earned and well-deserved on at least three forums here, for well more than a decade.

If you intended your nickname to be ironic, you don't understand what "ironic" means.

Drama Queen Palatine, gotta admit it has a ring. The ancient Romans had palatines that helped found Rome and establish western civilization. Anyhow, after reading this board for some 15 years, during which you have never had an unexpressed negative thought about any UConn team, coach or player, it has the makings of a nickname.

How about Jello Spine Palatine. When the going gets tough, he quivers.

Speaking of Jello, I wonder why it is that Bill Cosby isn't hawking it anymore.

Begins with "r," ends with "e," with an "e," an "l," 'nother "e," a "v," an "a," an "n," and a "c" in between.

(Is this a bit Chap-esque?)
