NCAA Tourney games

Does this mean your putting money on the cavs

Darn right. I had Iowa in futures bets but they were locked before the tournament started. I picked UVA to beat UGA, but thought that Iowa's home court advantage would be too much to overcome. But after watching UVA and Iowa play Saturday, I put money on UVA, ND, and Kentucky today.. But unfortunately I parlayed it with Alabama 😞😞😞😞.

I thought before the season that UVA was a tournament team and felt that they weren't playing up to their potential for most of the year They played Duke in Durham better than any outside of LSU and Chapel Hill... But also lost to UMBC.

Another monster stat line. This group of All Americans is nuts. They make up some of the strongest collection of individual seasons we've seen in a while.
It feels like after Booker's 40 pts, she texted the other All Americans and said: you're up next. And they all delivered. (Betts and Fudd are also showing out before their WNBA Drafts).

Props to Oklahoma State for playing the whole game and not getting too down on themselves.

Also, I haven’t seen them very much, but I was impressed with Wooten and Akot.
Akot is a late bloomer who played for Capital Courts, the same prep school that developed Merrisah Russell and Cassandre Prosper. Capital Courts doesn't get a lot of national hype, say like Crestwood, but they do a really good job developing players.

It's great to see her progression playing for Coach Hoyt. Oklahoma State was the right fit for her from the start.

I am going to assume we (UConn) are losing the national title to Texas if they get that TCU final four pick right.

It means they are from the future.
That's how I'm interpreting the bracket, but hey I'm not the one who put it together. 😉
Confused Hands Up GIF by STRAPPED!

Refs called excessive contact that was reviewed. She was down on court, holding her throat, and iMO, the UVA player got her in the chest. IN addition, at 2 OT tip off, an Iowa player undercut a VA player and it wasn't called. Doesn't matter, cuz the Hoos won!
thanks!

There have been no signs that TCU is capable of beating South Carolina. I will be watching that one with a lot of interest (assuming it happens).
I'm with you, I'm expecting nothing less than an total beatdown, if they make it past Virginia.

Is UVa the first team to advance to the Sweet Sixteen after surviving three overtime periods?
I think just two overtime periods - first game they one by a squeaker in regulation.

Honestly, I was really impressed by Okie State. For not having many well regarded recruits, they played a hell of a game and played toe to toe with UCLA the final three quarters - just couldn't overcome that 1Q flop.

My final piece betting advice of the season .. I call it the ACC parlay. UVA, Duke, Notre Dame, and Louisville on the moneyline. If it hits, we all will be dining at Ruth Chris next weekend. If Parlay Moses fails to deliver... Y'all are welcome to my house for tuna salad on crackers and a cup of granola.

I actually am partial to tuna salad 😂😂

Oh, geez, I especially hate to see season-ending injuries in the postseason. I still remember Natalie Achonwa tearing her ACL in the NCAAs in her senior year.

And, as I should have added to my post above, it has to be devastating for the player. I hope she is able to fully recover from this injury and have a happy and productive college career.

Do any of the #1 Seeds go down this weekend? We have UCconn; UCLA; Texas and South Carolina… what do you think? I believe depending on what teams show up between Kentucky and Louisville that Texas might be the first to fall.

I say no. This year, more than some years, there is a clear-cut cluster of 4 teams who are head and shoulders above everyone else.
