LSU is going to survive by a hair's width.
This relates to a point about when good mid-majors should play P5 schools. The more time to develop a team the more good coaching will beat better recruiting but mediocre coaching. A conference like the SEC is going to recruit well, but unless they have the coaching to match they will prove to be overseeded in the tournaments. The SEC has a bunch of mediocre coaches...
And RIP BYU Cougars. While not their month, per pound their guard Paisley Harding is one of the toughest people in Utah. One of those players getting up off the floor every time you look. You could put some pads on Gylten and she'd be right at home. She looks small, but she's fierce.
WhewLSU survives, Mulkey will need a whiskey cocktail with some crawfish later on after this one.
First NCAAT win for LSU since in over 8 years, finally got the monkey off their back
is this another season where the Pac 12 is gonna silence ppl? I think so![]()

Sedona Prince, creator of WBB March Madness and so much more, currently and hopefully to come.Win or lose Sedona Prince comes over as one of the bigger sportswomen in basketball. A gracious, hard nosed competitor.
How is this possible? I was told over and over again, via mantras like "every game's a dogfight" and "no nights off", that the teams from these highly regarded conferences would never lose to a team like Belmont from the lowly Ohio Valley Conference.
The cognitive dissonance is overwhelming.

Still in disbelief they found a way to lose this game. That height mismatch vs. Sabally and Prince was extreme.I had Oregon all the way to the Regional Final... shows what I know
Who said this this year? I actually don't think I can remember a single post to this effect around here. Are you referring to the commentators? How is this possible? I was told over and over again, via mantras like "every game's a dogfight" and "no nights off", that the teams from these highly regarded conferences would never lose to an underdog like Belmont from the lowly Ohio Valley Conference.
The cognitive dissonance is overwhelming.
A reminder that game threads aren’t allowed on the Boneyard. Use the chat room
If there is a UCONN game going on... can general users use the Men's Football or Basketball Chat Room?? Asking for a bunch of friends.
Graves has issues himself. Gotten fat and lazy during covid. Can't see him coaching as long as Tara or Geno. I don't think the passion is there like it was pre Sabrina and during the Sabrina era. Hopefully he makes a planned transition to his cabin in Eastern Oregon after a few more years and Oregon has a nice succession plan in place. They guy can recruit as well as anyone. I will give him that. Not the guy that Oregon had originally hiredFitting end to a bizarre Oregon season. They never shot the ball as well as what was expected from this group all season.
It happens sometime. SC has held UConn to 2 and 3-point quarters. Held Texas who was a higher seed than Mercer to 0 points in the 4th quarter in the elite 8.Considering that UConn just held Mercer, a higher seeded team than Howard, to zero points in the third quarter, I suppose that means you are even more impressed with how a season of adversity might have been an even better thing to have happened to UConn.
