UCI just got royal screwed at end of the game with that no call. What's going on with these refs favoring some of the P5 schools?

WOW UC Irvine got screwed. There was an obvious fould on that final play.

It was a foul.

But the bigger question is, does an ACC team outside of Duke make the 2nd weekend?
 
there were several rebounds and blocks that, that big guy could've gotten but just stood there... ugh so close

Even if it was a foul there it would have been number 6 with about 1 - 2 seconds of play. That game was not a hose job. If anything the go ahead basket should have been an and 1 and Ndaiye should have picked up his fifth,

You couldn't tell whether a foul occurred from either angle shown during the game. I don't understand people acting definitive.
 
So the ACC is 5-0 but easily could have lost all 5? Do I have that right?
 
I imagine a foul did occur considering that Rozier was trying to foul, and based on the reactions from everyone on the court but neither view was clear at all. I imagine that he got him with the body.

From the angle of the second camera it looked like all ball.

I'm talking about the foul in the corner against UC Irvine. I think we're on different pages.
 
Clearing out the non-majors pretty efficiently. I would not be surprised if we are down to 6 conferences left in the dance by Sunday.

Thought so as well from the live game camera. But one of the other cameras showed on replay it was all ball and the UCI kid's reaction made it look like a tackle. Moot point as I said earlier. Time was pretty much expired by that foul which was only six. A heady player like Napier would have baited the kid to foul him and taken a 3 pt shot as he was getting hit.

UC Irvine was screwed by their coach. That's the play he came up with at the 42 second mark. Dribble outside and take a 30 footer. No in-bounds play at the end to attack the basket.

Stand corrected. That was definitely a foul. A stupid one that cost them the game.
 
Pretty remarkable that a team who plays the style of defense Louisville does had two fouls to give in the final eight seconds.
 
Some of guys are just miserable people. You act like tbese refs are being paid off to make bad calls, not buying it. If the games are fixed then why watch? These teams have put themselves into positions for refs to make calls. These are debatable calls here. I will agree SMU's call was really bad, but even they had 2 good shots to win.

The fact they threw it in the backcourt with 5.7 seconds left and knowing Louisville is going to foul again amazed me. People were coming to the ball and open around the foul line, throw it to them.

That is a foul on Rozier, can't go for a steal with your right arm when he's dribbling lefty without hitting body. Thing is the coach blew it not the call.
