I think this first round has shown how weak the bubble was. OSU and UCLA were the only bubble teams to win and UCLA was on a very questionable call.

the st johns game has a good pace and intensity to it
 
is uconn the only team that continually uses the mid range jumpshot?
 
Providence is looking a lot like Uconn so far. 7 points 12 minutes in.

Dayton doing it again, watched the game against NC State in 02 the other night and forgot that Sean Miller played for them.
 
Providence has the 6th tallest team in the NCAA and Dayton kicked off two key frontcourt players due to disciplinary reasons. The flyers are really small. Why they aren't getting better shots is perplexing.
 
This is your chance to do something Providence don't blow your opportunity for the 2nd year in a row.
 
Dayton is doubling so quick on the blocks. Can't be so deliberate with the passes. Ball needs to be redirected out to perimeter on the double. If PC loses to an undermanned Dayton team, this will be a disaster.

As we have learned watching our team, tall players doesn't necessarily mean good looks. PC's big men aren't really the type that can score consistently in the post.
 
Question: have people considered that maybe, just maybe, the vast majority of mid-major players and coaches are at mid-majors for a reason and it's not the refs' fault?
 
Dayton vs. PC is a good offensive game so far in the second half. Pulling for Davidson for the upset. I love how they play and have the shooters on that team I wish we had.
 
Always been a Dayton fan. Them beating Cuse last year was niiiiiiice. Also gotta love the cinderella Elite 8 run.

PC hasn't won a tourney game since the Clinton administration and they've been talking about beating Dayton by double digits and already scouting OU......lol
 
Henton is building a brick castle at this rate. Already 20 attempts. More than a few forced.

Cant believe we beat Dayton, difference is they got better since then and we got worse.

Well I don't know if we got worst or just stayed the same. LOL!
 
Providence goes from almost beating Villanova to getting smacked by an undermanned Dayton team. Horrid performance.
