What are you talking about? We match up so poorly against Florida. Our strength is our offensive efficiency. Our defense is trash. And Florida has one of the best offenses I've ever seen.

It will take a freaking miracle for UConn to make it out of the first weekend.
Florida has been my pick to win the championship all season. Would still rather face them than the Johnnies.

I think you need to beat some good teams to win the the thing. Eventually. All I am saying is I think they are not thrilled a team with our pedigree and high ceiling is not the preferred 8!seed. But if you want to call it a seadon so be it.

14 SEC teams makes seeding difficult.
It should have been 12. But it’s not hard to see that Bama is the worst 2 seed, not the best.

Fishing for positivity I see, well how about we beat OU first.
Positivity is the only way. If you don’t believe you have no shot. And yes we can look ahead at other possible games. It will have no affect on our game against OK. That’s the fun in the bracket. Lighten up. No one believes anyway. No pressure

14 out of 16 SEC teams made it in. Even Texas and Oklahoma with 6-12 records in the conference. Just absurd.

That's what happens when you're at the top of the food chain in realignment - you get every team, lose none, have an overload of teams that play each other, and the mid-to-lower teams get the benefit of strength of schedule thanks to the top powerhouses despite losing records within their megaconference.

Texas was 6-12 in the SEC and 19-15 overall. Tied with OU for 13th place. And they're in.

This is the world we live in now.

I really haven't had a pick but for a little more than a month I've viewed Florida on its A game as the best that I've seen this season. I believe that in the environment the big dance offers we can beat St John's, but I believe we could also lose to a team that wouldn't stand a chance against most good teams.

One game at a time. Florida will have to find a way to prepare for both us and Oklahoma (while also spending ten minutes preparing for Norfolk). This is the hand we've been dealt, let's play it to the best of our ability.

Who cares! Go play basketball and root for them to do well! It’s another opportunity to do something special and we should be excited about it.

More proof that the P4 is going to break away. This might be one of the last NCAA tourneys as we know it.
We got 5 out of 11 teams, the sky is not falling. We deserved 5 out of 11. The power schools have 16-18 teams and should get more in. We sent more than the ACC 4 of 18 so why are we complaining. We need to do better in early OOC games as two years in a row the committee has shown favor to those teams that do well in those games.

Focused on OK. BUT if we were to get past Florida(which I think our A game can do) our path is not insurmountable.

Remember we don’t have to beat FL in a 7 game series. Just one game.
We beat them last time they were a 1

FL is the best team in the country if we beat OK
After watching a bunch of conference championship games, I thought the Gators looked like the best heading into the NCAA tournament and a problematc matchup for UConn, if we get past Oklahoma. They have the quickness, length and athleticism to give us fits. They can flat out play and I fear they'll completely overwhelm us on both ends of the floor.

If by some miracle we do get past them, we'd likeky face SJU, with their relentless style of play, which is our Kryptonite. IMO, it's the worst case scenario. I was hoping we would be put in Dook's region.

Well we dug our own hole so we'll just have to dig out of it.

Is Jay Wright drunk? He just said St. John's will lose in the second round because TT is physical.

Now he picks them for the F4?
They wouldn’t play TT until the sweet 16.

Then don’t. Me on the other hand, I’m already possibly looking past Florida. If we’re going to lose to OU we’re going to lose. There is nothing you or I can do to change that.
