How about Yeats’ poem “Sailing to Byzantium”? Its opening line: “That is no country for old men.”

(P.S.: I’ll be in Byzantium/Constantinople/Istanbul next week.)
Postscript: I stood on the floor of Hagia Sofia and recited “Sailing to Byzantium “ aloud. And cried.

Holy cow, that's pretty close to where I live- have driven past many times but haven't yet gone hiking there, will do so this year

When the kids were young, we used to take them, drive up, and pick the blueberries. This was 20-25 years ago, the mountain was cleared on top, just many high bush berries, which made for a great BB experience. Not sure how it is now, hopefully its still about the same, as it was very enjoyable - and tasty.

Been 20 years since I had a German Shepard companion (had 4). Best mutt: any good rescue dog. They know who saved them and will give undying devotion. 3 best dogs who picked me.
