My prediction: UConn 77 ND 61

What will be exposed today will be ND has one top scorer who they depend on. Nobody else on ND will score 20 pts against UConn. If Lloyd is contained and our defense makes it tuff on her ND loses big. ND has no one who can step up big in a big game against UConn other then Lloyd. UConn is much quicker then ND and that will take over the game. Now we are playing at ND and funny things happen at ND when UConn plays. This game will not come down to the last minute or last shot. UConn has to much fire power. ND will rely on finesse and ball movement. Mabrey Westbeld and Reimer are much to slow to blow by UConns defense and to slow to guard UCOnn one on one. ND is shooting over 50% that tells me they get a lot of wide open fast break points and a lot of easy shots underneath. That wont happen against UConn. Against UConn ND needs someone other then Lloyd to be able to put up numbers. In the past it was McBride this season there is on McBride. This is not the same ND as we've seen over the past few years. In the past ND had more firepower and experience. Diggins McBride Achonwa. ND has nothing like then anymore.
Please stop bringing up the Stanford game. That was a different team and the game was a fluke. Today UConn has a bunch of really good players. ND has one. UConn has Mojeff Stewie KML Tuck and Nurse all who can make things happen. How will a slow defensive ND guard them? Reimer Westbeld Mabrey and Allen aren't going to stop UConn one on one and theyre not going to take over a game. They are complimentary players. However KML Nurse Tuck can. If Lloyd is guarding Nurse and gets in foul trouble how close will ND come to UConn? Another point ND was averaging some where around 70+ pts against UConn. Now 2/3 of their top scorers from the past aren't there and ND has no one to pick up the scoring. This game will be a frustrating for ND. Passing lanes will be blocked, players will be suffocated and the pressure of UConns defense will take over.

Keys are KML and Kiah the seniors having a good game if UConn is to win. Can't have a repeat of Stanford.

I'm picking ND, but wouldn't be surprised if UConn wins.

If you're depending on the Seniors to beat Notre Dame, then you're right Notre Dame wins. KML a great player hasn't done well against Notre Dame, missed a 3 pointer which would have sealed one win, and didn't get out to McBride in a game on a tying 3 pointer at end of regulation, which was lost in O/T. The Juniors, Moriah, Morgan, Stewie, along with with Kia need to step up, and KML needs to just be the player she is normally against everyone else, and UConn wins by 11.

This is the most pessimistic score prediction thread I have ever seen here, so I am going to be a contrarian and say UConn wins big . I thought Stanford could win when so many people here was predicting a 30-40 points blow out at that time.

I don't think Notre Dame is going to "have to keep up with" or "run around with" anybody Tony because I think they are going to play zone or a real sagging man to man and try to take away the paint and force UConn to beat them from the outside.
