I got my dog on, the 4th of April, the day we won the national title. He was 6 months old and was born at the pound. We named him Kemba Calhoun II (referring to the 2nd coming of MJ :D). Of course we just call him Kemba for short. He is a Black Lab - Australian Sheppard mix.

I talk to him all the time about whats going on in the Boneyard forums and he sits down with me to watch every UConn basketball game (and football, if I can find it on somewhere online or on the TV, down here in NC.)

Here is a picture of My Dog, Kemba glued to a live stream of a UConn game earlier this season. He listens to Calhoun intently and gets excited when we take a big lead.

This is the kind of off the wall stupidity that used to make this place great. Well done.

On an unrelated note, work on the photography. I've seen clearer pictures of the Loch Ness Monster.

Come on now, it was hard to get a decent picture of Kemba and JC together at the same time. I had, maybe 3 seconds, to take the picture before the cameras panned off of JC. I wasn't worried about how clear it was.

Gauntlet thrown.

Later on tonight, I will demonstrate the finer points of pet/Calhoun photography. Prepare to be dazzled.

All I need to do is fire up the DVR and teach the fish to watch television.

I'll stack my cat, El Amin, against any Boneyard pet.

She was born in March 1999.

My wife and I are getting a dog next summer. I wonder if I can convince her to go with "Kemba".

What ever happened to the guy who named his newborn Kemba last year? He had the intention that he would change it but had to put something down. Are you here? Did you change it?

In a weird coincidence, I also adopted a dog this year and advocated for naming her Kemba, but was over-ruled by the wife and ended up with Nessy. This of course is strange because 1) she looks identical to the Kemba of the OP and 2) she in fact is the name sake of the Loch Ness Monster which also found its way into this thread.

In any case, Kemba is a great dog name, I'm sorry I was the only one who failed in this endeavor.
