Mullins/Reed Status?

It is not whether they practiced or not. How they feel the day after practice will tell if they have healed or not.

Maybe yes, maybe, no.
It doesn't mean that all 15 practiced both days. 1 or more could have practiced two days ago and then was unable to practice the following day. Not that I think that's the case, but Dan Hurley is wily.

3 is over two years is not even close to statistically significant. It's bad luck.

Or as others have asked, what are you suggesting? Are we doing something wrong? Practicing too hard (I don't think you'll ever see a coach say they have to practice at a lower level to prevent injury).

But you keep saying 2 or 3 is a lot and suggesting it's an issue with something. Just want to know what your theory is for what's happening to make it an issue.
Just to clarify. 3 high ankle sprains in 1 season and 3/4 games. It’s equivalent to 1 and 1 tenth of a season. So if you’re being honest the player last year played approximately 1/2 of a season and the players this year would be 1 games out of 40 and zero game’s before suffering an ankle injury. The amount of games played is statistically lower considering the amount of the potential games missed.( this year one player hasn’t even played yet and the other only played in 1 game ). It does seem higher than what’s expected on an average season. JMHO, here’s hoping our favorite team gets healthy soon so we can get back to talking about victory’s and a potential long tournament run.

One of the following will happen
1. They both play.
2. Reed plays & Mullins does not
3. Mullins plays & Reed does not
4. They both don't play

That sums it up folks

Look these two come back and Illinois gets fed to the woodchipper we may be looking back at that Zona game after the season as an acceptable lost in context a la Kansas missing Castle when Clingan got hurt
That very well maybe the case. Don't forget, Spencer got hurt early in that game, too, and was a non factor for that game because of that.

I can’t help but wonder … are “Reed plays” and “Mullins plays” dependent or independent events? I guess we’d need more info, but there’s a potential test question buried in there.

Bryant is an afterthought, maybe no thought at all
Yes and we played exactly like they were an after thought. Instead of taking the opportunity to build some confidence going into the IL game. Especially knowing we were not sure what our two best players availability was going to be going into today’s game.

I'm not buying the minutes restrictions at least for Reed, they either play or they don't this ain't Bryant. Hurley will take that paper and tear it in half or take that tablet and smash it into pieces.
