What is this "tape" you speak of?I have been collecting movies on my VCR and I have over 5000 movies on tape that took 36 years to collect. I have all of Fred Astaire's, all of Errol Flynn's, all of Elvis Presley's all of Tyrone Power's,All 96 Episodes of Remington Steele, from TV. I also have over 200 Uconn women's BB games on tape. And so many more. Above in my last post I meant to say "what I'm watching" GO HUSKIES!!!
I've watched many Disney movies, over and over ...and over. Not necessarily by my choice though.Disney Movies (Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Lion King, Hercules, Mulan)

Try saying that 3 times real fast.Betelgeuse, and especially, Moonstruck.
Barbara Stanwyck in a cheap blonde wig and wearing an ankle bracelet. Fred MacMurray was doomed before she got to the bottom of the staircase.Double Indemnity is another favorite of ours, one of the best Film Noir films around.
VCR tapes. Which I like better than Cd's or CD's. Block Buster Made millions on renting and selling VCR tapes. What is this "tape" you speak of?

Nice list, I forgot about “The Quiet Man” and “It’s a Gift”, maybe W. C. Fields best, trying to sleep on his porch on a hot night is classic. “I Hate Youuuuu”.Casa Blanca, The African Queen, Maltese Falcon, just about anything with Bogart.
Anything with W. C. Fields.
The Quiet Man on St. Patrick's Day.
Pride and Prejudice - I know the 1995 version is considered the definitive one, but I prefer the 1979 version.
A Christmas Carol - Several good versions, my favorite has Alastair Sim as Scrooge.
The Philadelphia Story and the musical version, High Society.
Charade is an under appreciated movie. Audrey Hepburn is charming in it as is Cary Grant. It has light comedy to go with a thriller that has a series of twists and turns. I highly recommend it.The Americanization of Emily
Casablanca
California Split
Shawshank Redemption
Charade

Do you watch copies? You need to store your gold copies in protected and controlled space. Tape doesn’t last forever.VCR tapes. Which I like better than Cd's or CD's. Block Buster Made millions on renting and selling VCR tapes.
- Princess Bride
- Forrest Gump
- Shawshank Redemption
- Back To The Future (because it's always on) ..... basically ones you can quote
Never saw “Cars” but did see “Used Cars” which is hilariously funny. There are many more that could be on my list, but these are some of the ones that both Colleen & I usually choose to see more than once a year:
Groundhog Day
A League Of Their Own
Pitch Perfect
Major League
Zootopia
The American President
Sing!
You've Got Mail
Cars
Notting Hill
Sabrina (The Harrison Ford one)
Shrek
Trading Places
Kung- Panda
Hitch
Sabrina
The Hunt For Red October
Up!
Dirty Dancing
Pretty Woman
Miss Congeniality

Wow, that's a good eclectic list that spans decades. I haven't thought about Father Goose in years. It's a funny movie.Usually our video machine is only on during WBB season (or if it's switched on by accident) but films we have watched multiple (like, lotsa) times include:
Princess Bride
The Great Race
Arsenic and Old Lace
R.E.D.
Star Wars: Rogue One
Father Goose
The Cheyenne Social Club
The Boys (& Girl) from County Clare
The Englishman who Went up a Hill but Came Down a Mountain
Matilda
The Blues Brothers
Adam's Rib
Chariots of Fire
Outrageous Fortune
The Wrong Box
Ghostbusters
And yes, Bigboote, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai. Arguably the most important film of our time.
