Mora Gut Check Time

First, who are our leaders on offense and defense? Second, UConn and the Giants did not listen to Parcells and being on the road kicked the field goal-take the points- early. Both paid with losses in OT that they would have won in regulation. My opinion is at QB you need a leader who pulls the rest of the team with them. Delaware had that. We clearly blew the game with Chadwick's play. Joe Fagnano has to be able to run the ball a couple times a game. If he can't figure out when to do that we are screwed. We rushed plays that could have won us the game on offense. That needs to be dealt with in practice. Total execution failure which is on the coaches.

Jags against Bengals another example of visiting team not taking the points with four minutes left and turning over the ball on downs in red zone. Bengals did score a touchdown so they might have won anyway.

First G6 loss since 2023 when we went 3-9 and that wasn't two years ago. We one year without losing to a G6. you are the one who is reaching. There is no reaching here. Glad you have dialed it back to 6 P4s. When you get to 2-3 you will have it right.
2023 + 2 = 2025

Just like in basketball, you can wiff in the portal. Sure we spent more money than in 2024, but our defense was lightyears better at this point.

It is possible we wiffed at too many key positions. Jury is still out.

The Huskies have not lost in regulation time. Only OT.

Playing the short field game in reduced space is a different game....less open space for receivers, different strategies required. Offensive line play and yardage on running plays becomes very important. Swapping FGs for TDs can lose a game.

And you want to play like 8 P4 teams a season.

Next year's home schedule is going to be a bloodbath.

Totally disagree. There is not a marquis team on the schedule next year. Every game is winnable.

Sept. 5: Lafayette
Sept. 12: Maryland
Sept. 19: North Carolina
Sept. 26: at Miami (OH)
Oct. 3: Syracuse
Oct. 10: at Temple
Oct. 24: UMass
Oct. 31: at Old Dominion
Nov. 7: at Duke
Nov. 14: James Madison
Nov. 21: at Florida Atlantic
Nov. 28: at Wyoming

I see Lafayette, UMass as wins and Temple and Miami OH are on the road so no guarantees. We’re likely underdogs in every other game

The visiting team will be favored in most of our home games.

They could win zero games a season and I would still come back to watch the next year. I don’t know why.
I have a feeling that you do know why. It's the same reason I've been buying six more seats than I need for the past dozen years. Once it gets in your blood it's hard to stop.
