This is second NC St game I have watched, they have one fan you hear over everyone. He must have a megaphone!

State fighting back, down to 4 points now (oops, 3 from Mabrey as I was typing).

.-.
Losing Ealey at PG really hurts.. Koenig can play the point... but she is much better off the ball. I was thinking the Clemson coach would run away with the ACC coach of the year... but if State can somehow finish in the top 3 in the league... Moore might get it.

And what about Miami coach Katie Meier if the Canes finish 1st?

Btw, I wonder if Ms Meier has interest in returning to coach her alma mater should an opening arise.

41-36 at half. Fans are getting riled up w/ a couple calls down the stretch.

I'd be willing to empty out my Piggy Bank to help the cause

Halftime: Notre Dame leads 41-36.

Elissa Cunane with 16 points. 2 fouls on Leslie and Crutchfield for NC State. Notre Dame racking up the fouls trying to stop her.

.-.
Absolutely horrible blocking call on Leslie, instead of the charge on Agun-bawally.
That's 2 fouls on Leslie. She's one player they absolutely can't do without.

Hard enough to play ND down 3 starters, without having bad calls put your best player in foul trouble.

Live ball turnovers vs. Notre Dame are death. This is where having no true PG really, really hurts State.

That's really it. Notre Dame is beatable if you can make them play half-court offense and half-court defense. You will not win an up-and-down game with Shepard throwing outlets to Young and Ogunbowale.

When NC State holds onto the ball and gives Cunane time to go to work, they are very successful. I'll be interested to see how Muffet tries to handle her in the 2nd half.

Regardless of what happens the rest of the season, this Notre Dame team has overall been such a disappointment in my book. Could've gone down as one of the best teams of all time. But they only show up about half the time. Clearly too mentally weak to handle the burden of being the overwhelming favorite.

On another note Rutgers 32 - Indiana 31 at the half.

.-.
In the Big Ten, Rutgers leads Indiana at the half by a point.

Ali Patberg is still out of action after separating her shoulder in the Minnesota game.

NC State always does a good job with their Yow game... recognizing Cancer Survivors at halftime by bringing them on the court. The State team always plays extra inspired during these games...... I remember a few years back a ranked Duke had to play them on Play4Kay day..... they beat the brakes off of the Devils :oops:

I’m interested in the future of NC State. They bring in two 5* in 2019 in Jakia Brown-Turner and Jada Boyd, plus they already have a 4* 2020 F Elle Sutphin. Future seems bright in Raleigh.

Very bright indeed. Wes Moore has distinguished himself, and his recruiting hauls are starting to reflect that.

They'll lose Leslie and Rogers. Hopefully Ealey and Hunter will both come back.

No offense to LetterL.... but hopefully they will go back to being the #2 team in the Triangle... again.... no offense to LetterL

Ealey already used a RS year to injury..... not sure if she could get a 6th year or not.

I think people underestimate the impact Leslie has had on this team, her loss with be big.

Well, okay...as long as the Blue Bellies over in Chapel Hill stay third! :)

Cat noted that a couple of weeks ago. Don’t let them get into transition, much like UConn.
