Mississippi St (4) @ Washington - 12/20/18

I was debating going to this game, but not sure I can do it. I think MSU is going to take out their frustration on UW and it will get ugly quickly. UW doesn't have a Hebard, I don't see how they'll keep McCowan off the glass, not to mention Howard.
 
State's playing a Top 100 team on their homecourt 2,000+ miles from Mississippi.

I expect a win, but by no means do I see UW getting embarrassed. If that happens, MSU will deserve kudos for the bounce back.
 
Jody's teams can play in your face defense.
However, they aren't playing Duke tonight.
 
Think it depends on if we have hangover from Oregon or we have rage over first loss. BTW, I have been ill since the Oregon game (flu like sickness), maybe I just take this stuff too serious!

UW has struggled with some really bad teams this year (Northern Arizona, Seattle U., Montana) before finally putting them away. Mississippi St. should be fine. UW has for the most part shot the ball really poorly as a team as well, especially from outside the 3 point arc. Huskies can force some turnovers, but they'll give it right back.
 
Carnage? Have we forgotten last night so quickly? Let's let the game be self evident. Don't be surprised if lowly Washington scraps its way to a tough loss.

Nope, but Oregon State IS playing Duke tonight!

Duke has Boykins back, and they will be a much better team than UW faced. Will be in at Gill Coliseum to see if OSU can redeem itself after the loss to Texas A&M in Maui.

Mississippi St looking like the #1 team in the country against Washington. A lot crisper and no overly active refs.
 
Holmes was sloppier with the ball than she has been all season, but still a blowout. Lot of difference in talent in this one.

Good to see Andi hit a 3. Maybe she'll loosen up and get a little rhythm tonight.
 
Melgoza continuing her terrible shooting of late (0-6).
 
56-19 just before half. I was expecting a blow out, but this is even worse than I imagined. Wow. Is it too soon to give up on this season and hope for some improvement next year?
 
Taylor has ability but she plays really out of control at times.

Imagine we will see Wiggins this 2nd half

Not to sound mean, but Washington looks like these junior high girls that are playing during halftime.
