Michigan Goes down!

If it’s all in jest, then my apologies. I mean that.

However, anyone giving Michigan crap after our 2023 season lacks self awareness. (not necessarily you)

It seems like some folks, don’t realize that great teams hit really rough patches too.
I’m more so trolling my good friend @RuffRuff. I understand Michigan is a really good team and losing to Wisconsin in no way means they can be cutting down the nets in march. I just think that 2023 UConn run much like the 2014 UConn run was unique and much more of the exception. Teams don’t normally fumble that much in conference and then have the most dominant run in tournament history.

When are we going to stop comparing teams to 23 and 24? The level of dominance those teams displayed in the tournament is not normal. And should not be expected to be seen again.
It is insane some of the stuff ive heard from people online about Michigan. I mean they are really good but to put them up with the `24 team that is literally one of the 5 best teams of the last 40 years and in the discussion for #1 considering they obliterated the field in the tournament including the team that spent the most time at #1 that season. Theyve achieved nothing at this point. They are in no discussion for greatest anything ever. Win the natty then we can start talking historical relevance.

Most of it was because of sites like Kenpom where people were stupidly using that site to compare across seasons which it’s just not meant to do.

Oh I'm here - see how a narrative can make Boneyarders Unite!

Glad they lost. That team has some softness in the frontcourt I didn't see coming.
Took you until 9:30 to post….helicopters, search dogs and all the locals were mobilizing. Can’t imagine how tough of a day this has been for you.

.-.
Is the second touch what they called it for? I assumed it could only be referring to the first touch because otherwise every dunk could qualify as interference in that sense.
Not really because on a dunk you don’t initiate contact with the ball while it’s over the cylinder, it’s already in your hand. What he did would be like hitting a putt and then hitting the ball again while it’s rolling into the cup.

Just the beginning for Michigan. Clearly an excellent team. But.. They have to navigate a tough conference schedule. Let's talk in March and see how giddy they are then.
Playing a tough conf schedule prepares y for March

Great analogy!
