Michigan Goes down!

When are we going to stop comparing teams to 23 and 24? The level of dominance those teams displayed in the tournament is not normal. And should not be expected to be seen again.

LOL Freudian slip.

Another thing that made today's result somewhat odd is that Penn State did the SAME thing to Michigan and similarly frustrated them.....so they saw the preview long before they saw the movie.

Michigan is about to experience the meaning of the cliche, "it's easier being the hunter, than the hunted".

Michigan just showed it has multiple ways to lose. Penn state game was close due to a lot of offensive rebounds.

Michigan is a load offensively, I get that.

Michigan plays hard defensively. But these teams are getting a lot of clean looks against them, Maryland PS WISC. I would imagine we would get clean looks all day and night from what Ive seen.

So I heard from another poster. I just saw the behind the backboard angle which didn’t illustrate said clarity.
That was the main replay that was shown in the game as well. Looked over the rim to me from that. That's what I meant.

Gotcha. Well obviously you’re right about it if they reviewed it and kept the call. I felt like you’d have to see it from the side to know for sure. But I also just saw it the one time, thought what I thought, heard the announcers disagree with the call, then wrote my comment about it. It sparked the “what if that were us” reflex in me. That’s all.

Seton Hall isn't a trap game when they're in the conversation for a bid and one of the better teams in the Big East
Definition of a trap game is Seton Hall at Georgetown today. The Hall has their Super Bowl Tuesday and Georgetown is coming an absolute stinker

I see, just one time would be tougher to tell.

They only showed the behind the backboard angle replay during the highlights, so I’ll have to take your word for it.

It was pretty clearly still over the rim.
He touches it twice, first touch is debatable, second touch the ball is literally in the basket and he pushes it down. Second touch was blatant.

If you really want to nitpick it’s also an over the back, he displaces the the defender boxing out

Just the beginning for Michigan. Clearly an excellent team. But.. They have to navigate a tough conference schedule. Let's talk in March and see how giddy they are then.

Thank You!!!! Agree, please stop.

If Michigan wins next game, does this thread get locked and The Michigan Is Good thread get unlocked?

Why would they? We have a tougher OOC and lost to number 1 in a close down 40% of the starting lineup. They were waxed at home by the #2 team in the country
The big 10 is rich with foootball money?

Let’s settle down and not throw stones. We needed OT to beat Providence who got smacked by… Wisconsin
When Villanova beat Wisconsin Nelson and his followers thought the badgers were the Michael Jordan Bulls.

Michigan has looked like the best team up until the last week or so. Struggled against Penn State and lost today. I still think they are really good but teams rarely go unbeaten. And they almost always have a WTF loss too. Though I’m not sure losing to an 11-5 conference mate on a controversial call is that much of a wtf. Long way to go yet. I don’t really care about others. If UConn keeps winning we’ll be fine.

Is the second touch what they called it for? I assumed it could only be referring to the first touch because otherwise every dunk could qualify as interference in that sense.
