Well these type of posts are not going to change the fact that we are in a conference with them. For years we were in a conference with likes of Depaul and Seton Hall and PC. I only care about it from the point of how it affects UConn. The only thing that bothers me is that UConn is in a conference that is going to pay them ty tv dollars compared to our former conference mates. We will see what their conference record looks like going forward.

Thanks for the heads up. I thought maybe if I hated Memphis enough they might disband.

Hating Memphis is in no way supporting DePaul or Seton Hall. But I'll give those schools this much. They only embarrass themselves from November until March. Memphis starts in September.

It is a cruel world out there and one thing that everyone can agree with is that overtime losses are nothing to hang your hat on and crowing over a few stray wins over a vastly superior program as some accomplishment is just pathetic.

Memphis makes the tourney every year and we better hope that they and a couple others become a strength in our new conference at least along the lines of Pitt or Geoergetown or our conference will be worse than we ever dreamed. He's a great recruiter and hard worker who hopefully gets the right mix to be prominent. That only is good for us. We need to root for their excellence for our conference to improve because that may be our home for the forseeable future.
