I can't tell if he legitimately tried to punch him (which it looks like in some angles) or if it was inadvertent as his arm came down.

EDIT: looks a bit sketchy, but don't think it was a punch.
 
Brian O'Connell is my second least favorite official of all time (Tim Higgins). He seems to do 3 games a day.

It must be jarring to go from CCSU/LIU Thursday in front of 150 people to this game in 36 hours.
 
Van Treese has been doing thuggy stuff all game. Pellom is punky himself but he lost his composure because of Van Treese.

On the other hand, horrible call on VTs screen.
 
There's just something missing with this Memphis team. Brains? Coaching? Brains and coaching?

That stretch of Pellom killed Memphis. They cut it to 2 on the Crawford 3, then he commits the flagrant foul, misses a gimme on minimal contact and then misses 2 free throws, then commits a turnover. Just high level bum ass play.
 
Memphis is a very good team but they don't have any star type players, nobody like Bazz or Kilpatrick who can put the team on his back.
 
Joe Jackson has been a no show for several straight games...

How does the ref far away at the halfcourt make that call against Goodwin on Jones when you have a ref right there?

We have to pass SMU in order to not be in the 4/5 game in the tournament, so Memphis is irrelevant to us.
 
Louisville is a really good team but they've been really bad down the stretch of games this year. Russ Smith bailed them out last Saturday, but it doesn't look like it will happen today.

Louisville is growing out beards during their win streak, so luckily Rick will be clean shaven the next time you see him.
