The Patriots were beloved at the early stages of their dynasty. But some people do get sick of dynasties and having the same team always come out on top. We shall see if UConn becomes a dynasty and how folks would react to that.

Arkansas is on his list. Is he the type of player that is going to go to whatever school offers the biggest NIL package?
I think for UConn to get a top player like this they have to be someone who wants to learn from Hurley and UConn system, and prioritizes that over max NIL package. There is always going to be some bag of money somewhere that is larger.

Per the article, he wants to announce before school starts so it should be within a month or two.
Cassidy also thinks we are the leaders at this time. Hopefully,Meleek never makes it to Fayetteville.

He's already making NIL money. Partly why he transferred to OTE.

Was able to do it without discussing pizza advantages in Connecticut. When he went to “A beer in the hand is better than” I thought he was heading that way.

That was painful to watch. It was like watching Ralphie in Christmas Story writing his essay on what he wanted for Christmas. And believing it was an A+++++ when in fact it was lousy.

The content machine is breathtaking. Something happens (or maybe in this case, nothing happens), and someone makes a crystal ball because of it. Then someone makes an article or video about that crystal ball, guessing at the context of it. Then someone makes a video rehashing the article. Then someone makes a video rephrasing the rehash.

Videos about videos about articles about balls. And each step in the chain gets more definitive and more clickbaity about the thing. It goes from one person putting a random guess to at the end of the chain "Meleek Thomas is a LOCK to UConn". And the latter person has never talked to Meleek Thomas or anyone close to him a single time.

He is a UConn fan but I don't think he has any good connections. His 15 minute segment seemed to be like what any of us are doing on here. He's making assumptions from what has happened in Thomas's recruitment. No more, no less.

He(Torres) does know the Arkansas beat writer who just gave a Crystal Ball for Meleek to UConn. Has a very high percentage rate on his picks. Why is this relevant? The popular opinion at Arkansas was it was between Acuff or Meleek for one of the final spots for 2025 at Arkansas. Perhaps one of the reasons Meleek hasn't shown his hand yet is he's waiting for Acuff to show his hand so that he( Meleek) has an easier decision.

Meleek to Uconn and they can have Acuff and his selfish early exit attitude.
