Exactly. It's not fair that you can be so smart AND so good lookin'.
I agree.

Well, if she is going to fill the role she has with CPTV in a more professional way, then I think she does need to step out of that previous life situation [during her on air time]. I am not saying she needs to be completely impartial, but her rant and language about what fans were way over the top and provocative. Ready to blow their brains out - - that is a sad statement in the world of violence we live in. Look at the way Kara Lawson used to handle Tenn/Uconn discussions when she first started on the air. Now she is much more balanced - she grew professionally. Maybe MC can't grow beyond where she has been to see a bigger picture - - kind of sad if that is the case. She should watch people who are very skilled in the art of the interview - - someone like Charlie Rose, and learn. Apply it to her own world.
OK, but I stand by my thoughts and I agree with vtcwbuff that: "Where we differ is that I think it was a very poor choice of words and uncalled for. That was my complaint. Some things just aren't jokeworthy - i.e. killing players - no matter how it was intended. Based on her expression when she said it there was no indication of sarcasm."The very last wish for a Geno show change would be for it to take on the tenor, tone and uber professionalism of a Charlie Rose interview... This is a dopey little coaches show, not a interview forum for world leaders and world shapers.
MC's deep connection is her "value added proposition." Her "insider's view is the very reason many watch the show at all. She was over exuberant in a forum that has no weight or meaning.
Sheesh, people.... We've become so very sensitive to what others say while at the very same time so very critical of others with our own words.

Boo - I don't think anyone is calling for any changes to the Geno Show. Certainly not me. I just thought that Culmo's attitude regarding fans was wrong and that her comment was bad form. I thought it was a bad choice of words and a huge misrepresentation of UConn fans in general - hyperbole notwithstanding.
