Yeah I don't think Caroline played at all her senior year. Otherwise I think she would have been a shoe-in.

SO -- We will have 9 AA's next year. (3 coming off the bench.)

This has to be some kind of a record.
Looks like. :) (although I think that will be 4 coming off the bench, unless they let us play with 6)

With a few exceptions they all had an impact while at UConn. Nicole Wolff had to deal with multiple health problems as did B Hunter. Of course, Samarie Walker never gave herself a chance to be an impact player at UConn.

I think EDD was a Mickey D's AA too.

Duke has had several AAs; not sure how many at one time, but they will have several next year.

We will have 7 on the roster next year. Gray, Peters, and Jackson as Juniors. EW as a Sophomore, Henson as a RS Freshman, and Jones, and Moore as Freshman.

Was looking at the duke site, and Duke has had 19 McDonald All-Americans. Im sure that includes the two just named. That is probably third most behind UCONN and TENN... not sure what other programs would be in the discussion.... I assume Stanford.

From an earlier thread

I think to be eligible for a medical redshirt the player can not play in more than 30% of the team's regular season games and the games can not be in the second half of the season.

She only played in 8 games... so she should be good to go for a redshirt.

A couple of recent ones.EDD,Walker They were and are listed under UCONN.Once you are selected and you have "committed" to a school that is your listing.
We have 7 on the roster Tiff,Kelly,Bria,Stef,KML,Banks,Stoke.
Doty would have been, but because of her 1st ACL playing soccer she missed the SR season:(
EDD and Walker would have made 9. We would have been going for our 4th NC in a row,and #9:( Next season we will have 9 on the roster, but more importantly an incredible team.
#1Stewart,#2MO,and Morgan at <#15,> due to an ACL during the USA 16 National Team Trials! She was ranked #1 at the time. HG's final McD's comment is funny! A possible acknowledgement that there ranking is not accurate for Morgan;) They do acknowledge this may be a classs that consists of the top 4! Unprecedented and has the future of UCONN :) :):)imcredibly bright PROPS to those who posted and got the entire list

i have to admit i'm a tad surprised that Kalana Greene from 2005 was not a McD AA. i realize it was based on HS Performances, not rankings or expectations for college, but i thought she was more highly regarded. i think she was just inside the top 20 in her rankings...

CD was ranked in the Top 10! Playing soccer, prior to her Sr HS Basketball Season, she received her 1st ACL! Wiped out her Sr Season and what would have included being a McD's
AA. The McD AA Organization should include those who would have been McDs

Kalana was chosen for the WBCA All-Star game though. And Renee was chosen for the McDonald's game that year, but she was not selected for the WBCA game.

I've crunched the numbers before and Tennessee, Duke, and UConn had the most by far over everyone else. Stanford and Rutgers were members of the 2nd tier. Tennessee clearly had the most, and there was a period during the last decade where Duke was getting more McDonald's All-Americans than UConn.
