They care about winning, and this kid's not good enough to play at either one.

I realize the way he plays is not about winning but more about Marshall Henderson agreed............but he's good enough to play at either minus the baggage!!

Marshall is a selfish impulsive addict. Proven it at three colleges already. The irrational confidence that he owns shooting the rock also carries to off the court.

Emtertaining, in the car crash at NASCAR dort of way.

No doubt but purely basketball, take away all the crap that he comes with, he would be a welcome player for most teams even if it were a microwave 6th man of sorts. He has that.......don't care for him whatsoever but he can get it going for anyone if given the chance (which he does not deserve).........

The talent is there, but seemingly inseparable from the personality. What makes him great on the court makes him terrible off the court. So there is no way anybody is touching him. Hey, some Euro team is going to get a bargain basement bomber!

He's a 35% three point shooter with more turnovers than assists. Why people talk about him like he's something special is beyond me.

He's special because he's entertaining to watch and although juvenile his antagonistic actions with fans is unique and something the sport sometimes lacks. What HE needs though is some counseling sessions and to work on himself before he gets back on the court. Unfortunately because he was rewarded with fame for his 'look at me' antics I doubt he'll get that counseling until well after his basketball potential (if any) is spent.

I hope we have seen and heard the last from him. The only people who are more imature than him are those that are entertained by his antics.

Oh, and the guy is not good. He is a gunner and a bad one at that.

He's not special but he could "play" at those schools. Maybe not star but could play...........and there's a lot beyond you!

I disagree with those that don't think he can play at a big time school. He actually reminds me a lot of Mike Rosario - inefficient as "the man", but capable of catching on as a role player surrounded by better players. And for all the kids faults, he still put up 20 per game on a team that won the SEC tournament and came one stop away from the sweet 16. Overrated? Yes. Stiff? No. I would take him at UConn in a heartbeat if he wasn't such a lunatic.

I love the kid on Twitter.

He's entertaining which is a nice change of pace from reading the blather that comes out of you dullards.

On the other hand, if he's been suspended from an SEC school, I'm guessing he killed a guy.

He got pulled over a while back with weed and coke, apparently. And true to form in the SEC, got a ticket for not having proof of insurance.

Well, it's important to have proper liability insurance - all the more so if you're driving while coked out of your mind.

If that happened, it wouldn't come out until he had left school and moved somewhere far away like Boston. This is the SEC, correct?

I would be embarrassed if he or anyone like him played for UConn.

They won one tournament game and he went 6-21 with 3 TOs and 0 assists. They won despite of him.

In the next round he went 4-15 from 3 and had more TOs then assists.

The holier than thou attitude about the kids puzzles me. I can see disliking him because he's a chucker and/or because he is an egotist. I think he's a good player and could be better if he could somehow harness his skills. But his ability is partially predicated on his insanity - to me that is VERY interesting to watch. Sometimes I wanted his shots to go in, other times I rooted for airballs. But to be insulted instead of entertained or amused by him seems extreme. Now if UConn were playing him I'd hate his guts, but otherwise for me he was a reason to watch a few random games.

I don't personally like Birdman, but I enjoy the spectacle of his quirky play, staring at him and making fun of his tattoos. Doesn't mean I want him on my team but I don't need to make him a pariah for all that is not holy.

Its entertainment, they entertain.

To paraphrase what someone said in response to John Rocker's steroids comments: If you want pure mindless entertainment, watch WWE.
